Up for adoption: Sassy!
Sassy is a 2-3 years old dsh, with the most gorgeous face. Her pictures just don’t do this stunning girl justice! She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Originally hailing from Georgia, she was in a high kill shelter down south and at risk for euthanasia. She was transferred to the NEOSPCA. We saw her sassy side,but someone saw her sweetness and she was adopted and in a home for several months but unfortunately was returned due to an unfortunate housing change. She has been sitting in the shelter since. She is now in foster care to get a better idea of how she would do in a home, and she’s doing so much better! Sassy is well named as it describes her perfectly. She is a sweet girl but she also has her own terms and conditions. She likes to be close, and will even follow you around but is not a fan of being held and tolerates petting in small bursts when she wants it. She will come up on her own time and terms when she’s ready for attention. Sassy will headbutt for petting and will purr and rub against hands and legs. She also seems to like being brushed, and she loves the chin scratches. She will usually vocalize when she’s not in the mood. Sassy does however, LOVE to play. The laser pointer is her absolute favorite, but she also enjoys wand toys a lot too.
This girl is used to being spoiled, she loves cushy beds, wet food, toys and hanging out in the bathtub!
Sassy would do best in a home with no other animals, and no small children.
Sassy may never turn out to be a cuddle bug, but she would make a fun and quirky roommate, with plenty of attitude and enough affection to be grateful for her presence, as long as you can handle when the sass shows!

Everyone is $225, UTD on shots and vaccinations. Xena and Xavier are altered. Princess and Hershey are not yet altered and therefore will have a spay waiver and an extra $100 deposit which you’ll get back once they’re fixed. We can schedule that appointment for you today.

Remember, you don’t need a ticket to adopt. Simply tell the front gate that you’re there to adopt a puppy and they will escort you in and out of camp. Adoption fees are $125 and all adoptions are performed on a first come first serve basis.
