“Just a little one week update on our girl. She is literally the best! We named her Sheila and she is loving the farm life. All of her siblings (human and dog) love her! She is fitting in so well with our family and we’re super grateful we were able to take her!!”

Winnie got her foster, and she totally lucked out!!
Jennifer is our local groomer (Parowan Pet Parlor), so Winnie is going to be so loved and clean and sparkly with her new foster mom!
Her mom & Jennifer are going to make sure this transition is a breeze until she can go back home again.

I am looking for a foster or a new forever home.

I am the most perfect girl! I am so well behaved that my shelter friends cannot understand why I am still here.

I have great recall, I’m loving and obedient, I get along with other dogs and ignore livestock, and I’m the calmest car buddy.

Hi, I’m Duke! I am a very quiet middle-aged terrier mix. I don’t have a lot of experience with people, but I am friendly! I won’t jump on you because I have manners. I was even good with the gremlin they introduced me to today.
I come when you call and I am an easy leash buddy.
I am looking for my forever home. They say they will “fix and chip” me, whatever that means. I guess I need a foster, so I can be with people while I heal.

This dog was picked up on 8/16/2024 by a family on I-15 near exit 82 and taken to the St. George animal shelter.
He might belong to someone in the area. He is a male, bully mix weighing 63lbs and is very tall.

This beautiful smush is in urgent need of a temporary foster home (2-3 mo). Her food will be supplied as well as any other needs.

Winnie is very laid back and loves to snuggle. She used to go to a store and work with her mama every day.

Her parents love her very much and do not want to give her up. Their living situation changed unexpectedly and they just need enough time to get resettled to take her back.

If you are looking for a temporary snuggle buddy, PM us. She would prefer not to share you with other dogs.

Want to foster a snugglebug?

Lady, the hound was taken home tonight. She had jumped the fence during a bad storm 2 months ago. Somehow she traveled all the way from Richfield. When her owner heard that we had her, he immediately jumped in his truck and drove all the way to Parowan to claim her. A search lasting 2 months that ended in a sweet reunion.

Iggy went to the groomers today in preparation of going to his new foster home. He looked like a different dog. A big thank you to Parowan Pet Parlor and Debra Slotboom for your help. They spent hours on him. He is such a great dog.

Harlow and Iggy are still with us. They are great dogs, love to play, are quick learners, and are great with everyone. They have been in the shelter for 8 months now and would love a forever home.
