Klein came to see us yesterday because he was limping. He got a full annual, meds to make him comfortable, and LOTS of love! He was SO brave for everything and was all tail wags and kisses with all the technicians and doctor. We just love his sweet personality. Help us in wishing Klein a speedy recovery! ❤️🐾

Annie came in yesterday for her 3rd acupuncture treatment with Dr. McDonald. She was so comfortable she fell asleep during her treatment.

Jazz came in for his tech appt with Jennifer for Librela but boy what a difference one week can make🤩Last week Jazz was not feeling so well and look at him now❤️he made sure to give a kiss and snuggle to Dr. Eskew who took care of him.

Max came to visit us last week for a sick exam. He was all tail wags, smiles, and kisses even though he wasn't feeling the best. He was a brave boy for his exam and left with his tail still wagging! Help us in wishing him a speedy recovery!

We love our clients! We want to give a shout out to Sir Winston Churchill's parents for their very creative e-collar. They noticed the start of a sore under his eye and wanted to keep him from rubbing it and making it worse. So, until they could get him in to see us, they made a very cool makeshift e-collar. Plus, Sir Winston looks so handsome!
If you think your pet needs an e-collar, please let us know and we can help figure out what would work best for your fur baby. ❤️🐾

Meet Peanut Butter! This cute little 6-month-old pup is on the hunt for her forever family! She's had all her shots and is just the sweetest thing you'll ever meet. She gets along great with other dogs and tiny humans (not sure about kitty friends as she's never met one). She's a pro at going potty outside and hanging out in her kennel, plus she's a solid 35 pounds of pure love (as of right now). Ellenton Animal Hospital

Built in 1984, Ellenton Animal Hospital has been serving the community for over 30 years. Dr. Susanne Sullivan joined the team almost 14 years ago, becoming partner in 2013. In January 2018, Dr. Sullivan and her husband Greg became full owners when Dr. Dana Walstad retired.

Since January, Ellenton Animal Hospital has underwent some amazing transformations. We have added two new exam rooms, a new surgical suite, surgical prep area, updated treatment area, and expanded pharmacy. Our team is growing too, to help us accommodate the growing need of our community and it’s furry family members. We have a great mix of familiar faces along with some new ones that bring some new talent to the group. One thing that has not changed over the 30 plus years of our service to the community is the compassion we have towards our patients as well as their owners. We take pride in your healthy pets!
