Our first spay/neuter clinic is in the books and was a great success! We spayed 11 cats and 1 dog. We neutered 3 cats and 1 dog. This program will help in reducing unwanted litters. Our low income program covers Labette County, Galesburg and Erie. Our low cost program is open to everyone when space allows. If you would like to sponsor, or donate toward, a spay or neuter, please contact the shelter Monday through Friday, noon-3pm. Together, we can make a difference!!

We are looking for help to transport a 4 pound little Yorkie to Bixby OK to Pitiful Pups Rescue. They are able to place this old girl in a foster home as the shelter is way too stressful for her. She would need to go Saturday or Sunday and would need to be picked up at the shelter before 9 am. Give the shelter a call if you are able to help!

People like this make no good sense. A. Why would I dump a puppy in MY DRIVEWAY? B. why would I still have the puppy? C. Why would I do that to an animal when I am on the shelter board and have plentiful room in my facilties to keep it? D. No sane person would dump a baby! But people like this bring my reviews down over lies. These are even MY photos of when I found it.

To the heartless ******** who dumped this puppy in the ditch at my facilties, luckily I have a heart and check crates. This poor little one had rolled down the hill, or you threw it out and was upside down in the ditch. She could have sat there, in the weather with no food and water for unknown how long. I have cameras, and I hope karma smacks you in the face. This puppy didn't deserve this because YOU chose to bring it home.

This puppy appears to be one of the many that were given away this weekend in town. Lesson #1. DO NOT GIVE AWAY PUPPIES/DOGS! Not even 2 days, and this one was dumped. Please do better.
