Look at this amazing before and after! Gretchen had had a long gap in between her regular groomer and switching to us due to a move across the country. We removed a total of 6lbs of fur from her tiny body! So far, she is in the lead for the "most fur shaved award" we give out in November.

Seeing the obvious relief on her face (and her parents face) once all the fur was off made the time and effort we put in to making her comfortable worth it!

This is Obi, he suffers from a painful condition called Arthritis. Many people are familiar with arthritis but have no idea it can affect our furry friends. He was having issues getting around the house, so me and his parents had a heart to heart about CBD oil and other options to give him back his life such as rehab and regular quality of life visits. This is our new friend Izzy, he is our super stylish "Hot dog" and has been awarded the most behaved nail trim of the month. We love our pups but Izzy has quickly made it to the top of our favorite list!

Did you know we help with horses too? Shadow was having problems with his eye, pain, swelling, and drainage. We spoke with a board certified vet on behalf of his mom and she directed us to an appropriate eye antibiotic which we demonstrated how to use so that dad could help him out. After a week of use he has fully opened his eye and no longer has an infection!

This is a huge improvement since mom and dad were nervous he was going blind! We can't wait to see him for his sheath cleaning on our next visit, he is such a good ol boy! (20 years old, just old enough to get employed here!)

For those of you who don't know we offer dremel services in your home for $30. Dremels allow us to get close to the quick without breaking it and allow us to easily round out your pups nails. This gives you get the most out of your money spent so we don't have to come nearly as often. Once a month appointments can turn into once every 6-9 weeks! That's a huge improvement!

Before video and after video of wabi sabis URI that turned into pneumonia most likely from her inhaling water. We came and showed dad how to give meds as well as helped them get some vet advice on dosages on antibiotics. We are so happy to hear she can breathe again, now we will have to see about adjusting that beak!

Dangers of Matting

If not kept under control, what can start as a minor nuisance can eventually lead to great discomfort and then health issues for your cat. Cats are notorious for concealing their pain and discomfort. They don’t talk to us or tell us when they are in pain, so it’s up to the owner to be aware of their behavior and notice any changes in it. Over time, mats grow tighter, and become itchy, and become hot on the cat’s skin, causing great discomfort. Eventually the skin becomes irritated and inflamed, risking possible infection. Extreme cases of matting may require the cat being put under anesthesia and shaved.

Give us a call if you need help with a matted cat. We promised to keep our visit confidential. Our friend here couldn't move freely without pain until we came to see her.
