Our goal is to ensure that every pet we encounter stays in--or finds-- a loving home. Educating pet owners and potential pet owners ensures that loving home lasts for the lifetime of the cat or dog. Being a pet owner is a serious responsibility. Pet owners need to provide regular veterinary care, shelter, opportunities for exercise, quality food, mental stimulation, routine vaccinations, training, city licenses, and more. Jordan has brought a ton of love into her foster home. Check out what they said about her:

Jordan is a sweet, happy, loving girl with a fun personality! She has her gentle side of easily picking up on emotions, being caring, and wanting to cuddle. But she also loves running around and playing in the backyard. She even enjoys listening to Christian music during her kennel time to soothe!

She is being fostered with another dog and they get along, she has been around kids and did well, she has been around cats and was curious and not aggressive, and she has also learned the commands of sit, shake, kennel, and come.

Her favorite toy is a small yellow duck, her favorite treat is a Kong ball peanut butter popsicle, and her favorite activities are zoomies outside, cuddling, and watching a movie. Jordan is a sweetheart who overtime has bloomed into the beautiful girly pup she is!"

👋 Hi there, I’m Fozzy Bear, and I’ve got a little story to share… 💕

I came into the shelter with a bit of an eye issue (thanks to an ulcer—ouch!), and the shelter says I can’t see out of one eye, and I may even need it removed.

But that doesn’t stop me from being friendly, loving people, and seeing the bright side of life! I just need a warm home where I can feel loved and safe.

When he arrived at the shelter, he was struggling with arthritis, and now he's started to vomit making life even harder for this gentle soul.

But despite his pain, Rocco still manages to greet us with a smile. He holds on to hope that his final years could be spent in a quiet, loving home, where he can finally heal and feel safe.

When I was adopted, I thought I'd found my forever family. My heart was full of hope, and I was so excited to make memories with them, to show them just how happy and grateful I was.

At Pasadena Animal Shelter, we care about people and pets. In fact, we assist more than 7,000 animals annually. So if you need us, or if you know of an animal that needs us, help is just a phone call away at 281-991-0602. As a function of the Pasadena Public Health Department, preventing the spread of disease is our number one mission. But we strive to achieve so much more. Our goal is to ensure that every pet we encounter stays in--or finds-- a loving home. Educating pet owners and potential pet owners ensures that loving home lasts for the lifetime of the cat or dog. Being a pet owner is a serious responsibility. Pet owners need to provide regular veterinary care, shelter, opportunities for exercise, quality food, mental stimulation, routine vaccinations, training, city licenses, and more.
