Onion has really blossomed in her 4 weeks out of the South LA Shelter.
From decompression and crate work, to leash skills and exercise. Once we had a good rapport, we started socializing her with the rest of the group and we were able to see some real confidence! Natural confidence that was once stifled by her previous life.
We began preparing her for adoption events and of course, real life, life in a big city. Here’s a peak to show with lots of support, we’ve had lots of growth.

We heard about Stewie through lifesaver @flores78__ and when @wishbone_rescue offered to take him in their rescue as we worked out a plan to get him here.
He’s come so far, finished all his medical and is ready to find his family. He charms everyone he meets, including auntie @daniellebelardomd who adores him and asks about him regularly 🥹
Since missing out on some early socialization, we’d love to see him in a home with another dog. He’s a softer energy but can match with many dogs and seems to bring the best out in most.
We think he’s about a year old, 12 lbs and has a little tweak in his step from an old injury that doesn’t bother or slow him down.
