We have an update on Stumper!!
Stumper is doing very well in his recovery and is still looking for a new home! He is a very loving, and social rabbit. Stumper loves to attend our weekly staff meetings and as you can see in the video, he loves to hop around the room to greet the entire staff!
If you are interested in adopting Stumper, please call us at 410-437-7514, or email us at [email protected] to schedule a meeting!
Stumper would do great in a home with kids and does well with other dogs!

July is Adopt-a-Rabbit month, and Stumper is here to help us share some tips about proper bunny diets!
Rabbits need a balanced diet of hay, fresh greens, a little bit of fruit with a sprinkle of pellets.
Hay: Should be provided in large amounts and be available for your rabbit 24 hours a day. Hay is essential to a rabbit's diet, as it provides roughage which helps reduce the dangers of hairballs and other blockages.
Fresh Greens: Feed a minimum of 1 cup of veggies for each 4lbs of body weight per day and ensure to select at least 3 types of veggies for their diet. Looks for dark, leafy greens and do not include beans or rhubarb.
Fruits: Should be limited to 1-2 tablespoons per 5lbs of body weight. If your bunny is on a diet, please do not include fruit in their diet. Sugary fruits should be given occasionally as treats, and not included in their daily diet.
Pellets: Pellets should be limited to 1/4- 1/2 cup per 6lbs of body weight. They should be fresh and include a minimum of 18% fiber.
DO NOT feed chocolate to rabbits, this is poisonous to them! Please do not feed them cookies, crackers, or other "human treats".
