A common mistake that is done in crate training is forcing the dog inside. It may work at 8 weeks but not so much when they are 6 months or more. Remy is only 6 months old and is a rescue. Owners stated that in his previous life, he was left alone for long hours, creating separation anxiety & crate training challenging. As you can see, he is learning new behavior in associating crate with positive rewards. He eats in there. He gets his treats in there.
