Dear Pet Food Express Customers,
I am filled with great emotion as I write this letter. We at Pet Food Express are heartbroken over the devastation caused by the fires in Southern California. As a native Angelino, I am crushed to see so many of my favorite parts of our beautiful city leveled.
In addition to the tragic loss of personal property, historic buildings, and national landmarks, a number of residents have lost their beloved animals. While most were able to save their pets, some were injured. As a result, the Pasadena Humane Society and LA County Animal Care & Control have created triage spaces for lost and injured pets. We are working with these organizations and we will do what we can to help them continue to operate in this capacity. Both are desperately asking for monetary donations to help with medical care for the animals. To donate, or for information on how to get help, visit https://pasadenahumane.org/eaton-canyon-fire-update/ or https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/emergency-animal-shelter-information-los-angeles-county-fires/.
For the thousands of residents who were forced to move without the ability to grab the things you need, we are here to help. If you have been affected by any of the recent Southern California wildfires, we currently have pet carriers, crates, beds, bowls, leashes, collars and medical supplies available at extremely low cost. Please see one of our in-store associates for details. To find a location near you, click https://www.petfood.express/stores/.
In addition, we have turned our Long Beach - Bixby Knolls location into a donation and distribution center. Items in need are pet carriers, crates, beds, bowls, leashes and collars. If you have a need, or have something to donate, the store is located at 4220 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90807.
None of us know how long it will take for Los Angeles to recover but know we are here to help.
We love you, Los Angeles.
Sincerely,
Denyelle Bruno
