Marion participated in handing out candy at the sheriff’s office for Halloween. She meet over 40 preschoolers, and staff. Her puppy raiser Kimi continues to expose her to new sights and sounds, continued socializing, obedience and manners. Marion is one of our dogs in our nonprofit Camp Woods Legacy. Kimi is a volunteer and has taken on the task of puppy raising her. We don’t know what is in Marion’s future as we are letting her grow and be a puppy. Andy is practicing her classroom visits as she is in training to be a school facility dog. At 6 months old she is a natural. A giant of a dog with a gentle nature. She is looking for a puppy raiser. A family that can continue her socializing and training. We held our first Yapoy Hour @wheatheadbeer! What a fun evening. We sold merchandise, pupcones and raffle tickets. Most importantly we were able to get our story out, our purpose and the difference our dogs are making. Tundra and Aloine made their therapy debuts and I am so impressed. There were so many dogs there. We were also represented by other Camp Dogs, Bash, Archer and Gentry. Hoping we can do more of these events. Our most recent puppy giveaway from our Nonprofit Camp Woods Legacy. We have partnered Todd, from Mossy’s f1 Christmas Vacation Litter with Bill to be trained as his new guide dog. Bill lost his vision about 25 years ago. He has self trained 2 other guide dogs, and has been a k9 police officer. He, with the help of his wife Jennifer, will be self training Todd, now Tiger to be his partner and guide dog. The difference he will make in Bill’s life will be life changing.
