Frenemies! The dog and the dog catcher.
Marion continues to encounter new people, places and things with her puppy raiser. She struggles being social with men, but has an innate nature to console those in crises. She is a puppy in our nonprofit.
We are in need of more puppy raisers. Our puppies are older, potty trained, crate trained and have basic obedience. They are in need of continued socializing and obedience. Puppy raising is a labor of love and selflessness. Our dogs are leaving a legacy one paw print at a time.

Mia is almost done with her board and train. When her training is complete she will be placed as a school facility dog, if that is her destiny. Paired with a handler who understands her and placed in the right school with the age of children she enjoys. Our applications from teachers and administrators who have applied for one of our dogs is growing. Currently the wait is up to 18 months long.

We are still in need of puppy raisers to help with our mission. I can’t do it alone and must rely on our community. A puppy raiser takes one of our puppies in training into their home and continues basic obedience and socializing with them. When ready the puppy returns to us for specialized training, and when ready, placed with one of our applicants. Do you fill inclined to help with our mission? You commit to however long you want to do it.

Marigold is off with her puppy raiser! Marigold is a puppy in our nonprofit with the hopes of her being a facility, therapy or service dog. Her new handler, Tawnee, has been approved by our board of directors to be a recipient of a school facility dog. We don’t know when we will have a dog for Tawnee and her school. In the meantime, she has graciously volunteered to help out our nonprofit by puppy raising. It really does take a village to continue the work we do. We have 2 more puppies available for puppy raising, if you feel the calling please contact us.

A school facility dog makes science fun. Lily and Bash collaborated with their collective middle schools science education. They each have their own school they work at and it makes for a fun learning experience when the dogs get together.

Both dogs are specialized trained dogs, donated to a school by Camp woods Legacy.

Bash continues his job as a school facility dog. He works hard greeting his friends, listening to secrets and seeking out pets. The job he does has been a lifeline to many students and staff.
Bash was a fully trained adult dog donated to his handler who is a Vice Principal, they work together as a team. He was sponsored by our nonprofit Camp Woods Legacy.

Rachel is a specialized trained dog working as a school facility dog in the Mabton School District. She was born at Camp Doodle Woods where dogs are purposely raised and parents chosen to provide facility, therapy and service dogs. Rachel was fully donated. Her raising and training was fully covered by the nonprofit and Camp Doodle Woods. We are passionate about placing our dogs in schools.

We accept donations whether monetary or items of food, beds, toys and gear.

Andy did her first school visit. She is a 5 month old bernedoodle who is in training in our nonprofit. She was breed for a purpose whether it is school facility, therapy or service.

How cute is Andy (Andromeda)? She is available to a volunteer puppy raiser. She is a fun girl that is ready to explore the world. Her leash walking is coming along so is her focus and other obedience. Crate conditioned and doing great with house manners. She is part of our nonprofit with the possibility of being a school facility dog. If you feel it in your heart to be a volunteer puppy raiser, please reach out.

Marion is off with her puppy raisers! Kimi and Sophie will raise Marion for our nonprofit Camp Woods Legacy. Sophie is headed off to college soon, so Kimi will be in charge. She will get to go to work with her at the sheriff’s office where she will get lots of socializing to people, sounds, and things.

Thank you Legends Casino for believing in our mission! Our dogs are making a difference and I have many true stories of how they are doing it. Just 1 dog in a school can touch over 800 students during that school year. The dog continues to show up year after year! The impact keeps going. A dog in a school gives them a reason to show up, as they are there waiting for them, they show them unconditional love, they are an ear for listening and secret keeping.

This grant will help us continue to place our fully trained dogs and puppies as school facility, therapy and service dogs.

Join us at Wheat Head Brewery for Yappy Hour! Wednesday. June 5, 6-7. We will have doggy grab bags, charcuterie trays and merchandise for you and your pup. Forgot your dog? No worries we will have our professional therapy dogs and pups in training available for you to love on. Proceeds of our sales will benefit our nonprofit. We donate fully trained adult dogs and untrained puppies to deserving people.

Hey freins, Alpine here! I just finished a class called STARR Puppy. Momma T says I am destined for something real special, something called a skool. Well if it’s a place where I can take naps I think I will like it.

Alpine is in our nonprofit being trained to hopefully be a school facility dog. Schools, administrators and teachers can apply for her or one of our other dogs in training.
