Ok …. We know LPR is blowing up your feed but today was too fun not to share.

We had a full sorting clinic with Casey Fowler Performance Horse Training ….. what a fun day! All riders and auditors left with new skills and a smile.

Congrats to Marley Michael for winning the round robin at the end, leaving with a new headstall and reins and thanks to The Creston House and General Store for lunch.

We have been having so much fun with our SUMMER SORTING SERIES (still in progress 😉), we wanted to do it again!

What a fun day sorting here at the LPR today! We paid out over $2,200 in prize money (plus prizes) to the sorters that came today! Congrats to the winners and thank you to all the riders and people that helped make this day a success!

Our next event is this coming saturday, 8/3! We hope to see you here.

This is a low pressure supportive environment that will allow you to test your skills on live cattle. Our practices give you 2 full hours of practice for just $50 bucks.

It’s been a month since a quit my “stable” job and persuaded the horses full-time, here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Following your passion is daunting and mentally taxing, with moments of midnight panic – take the leap anyway.

2. Surrounding yourself with supportive individuals is crucial for keeping the fire burning and pushing forward. (Thanks to all those who support me, big and small)

3. Success in anything demands a lot of hard work, but it’s a whole lot easier when you love what you’re doing. My days seem to fly by now that I’ve found joy in the grind.
