Don't you just want to Boop my beautiful, shiny nose!?! My name is Onyx. I am a gorgeous, black, 3 year old, male German Shepherd. I have been here since January! There is no reason I should be waiting that long for my new family. I am a wonderful boy and a volunteer favorite. I am good with most other dogs. I am good on a leash. I love my people and listen intently to what they want from me. I am active but not too active. I would do great with someone who wanted to hike or go to the beach and then hang on the couch eating snacks . I am a German Shepherd so I am loyal like no other. My only downside is that I cannot be adopted to a home with livestock. So if a regal boy like me is just who you thought you'd like to spend time with, please come to the San Luis Obispo Animal Services to meet me. Hey there! I'm Hobbs, and I'd love to tell you a bit about myself.

Life started out kinda rough for me-I didn't have much of a family or a comfy place to call home. But then some awesome humans came into my life and gave me a fresh start. They showed me what love and care are all about, and I'm so grateful for that!

I'm 11 months old now and ready to find my forever home. I might seem a little shy when we first meet, but give me a bit of time and I'll warm up. Once I get to know you, I'm all about snuggles, playtime, and just being your loyal buddy.
