"Where Dogs Take Flight" Sherwood Dog Park opened in April 2012 due to the efforts of a hard-working group of volunteers and local businesses.

Sherwood Dog Park is open from sunrise to sunset and has the following amenities:

1.25 acres in size, cross fenced for separate big dog and small dog play areas
Perimeter fencing will be 5 feet in height with a post and beam wood construction similar to existing fencing in the open space area and in other North County dog parks.

- Interior cross-fencing between big and small dog play areas is 4

feet in height.

-Ground cover of recycled wood chips.

-Two double gate entrances and 1 drive gate entrances.

-One arbor-style shade structure approximately 24' x 36’.

-Two information kiosks.

-Two concrete pads for water drinking areas.

-Multiple picnic tables and park benches.

-ADA accessible entrance and walkways.

-Trees and landscaping to provide shade and view screening to match existing native plantings.

Paws up for Paso Robles! Make plans to join us on Sunday, September 21, for a Spayathon & Pet Wellness Clinic in partnership with San Luis Obispo County Division of Animal Services at Pioneer Park (19th and Riverside Ave). Walk-in hours are 10am to 1pm for low-cost rabies and other vaccines, microchips, topical flea treatment, dewormer and nail trims for cats and dogs. The Street Dog Coalition will help unhoused pet families. All pets must be on leash or in carriers. Inquire about spay/neuter appointments at care4paws.org/spayneuter/.
