🫎 MOOSE ADOPTED 🫎 We are thrilled to announce this adoption because Moose’s journey wasn’t easy. He was let down by the family that promised to take care of him and found himself homeless. We couldn’t find a foster before his family decided to “return him” and thankfully helped us. Shortly after, was able to foster Moose and it was a game changer for Moose. He lost the much needed weight he needed to lose, he gained trust again, he was socialized with more people and other dogs, he was loved and cared for and enjoyed the company of children again.
With the help of , Moose started to shine and show his true personality. Moose is a happy, goofy and gentle boy. He loves his people immensely and is truly a wonderful family companion.

Today. we announce that Moose finally found his forever family. Some great things are worth waiting for and we feel that it was a blessing in disguise that Moose was returned. It led him to his new family who absolutely adore him, appreciate him, respect him, teach him and unconditionally love him.
Oh and he even has a 2 cat fur sisters, Moonshine and Boo Bear that he loves! 🐱

🧱 BRICK 🧱 Our handsome boy had his vet visit today and got the all clear health wise except an ear infection, which sadly he is prone to since someone sadly butchered his ears 😑 Brick has been in foster for a few weeks now and is absolutely thriving. He is adored by his family and is living his best life. Brick is a mellow dude, dog friendly and adores his people. He enjoys everyone he meets and is just an all around happy and loving boy. Sweet injured little girl🥲 Hasn't got a chance!

More info; This sweet little girl just came in to shelter. Front leg is shattered. The Good Samaritan who brought her in thinks she was the victim of a hit & run🤬so possibly has other internal injuries!

AND she's jusr a baby😥only about 6 momths old.

We need to get her to a hospital! We are useless to her without a commited foster🙏🏼 If you ever have been considering stepping up, NOW is the time.

This sweet, innocent pup won't last at the shelter💔

☀️ Our sweet Selena…this is peace and content as our senior girl has found her foster to adopt home. Selena found herself in as she was confiscated due to a cruelty case. Selena was kept in a cage due to overcrowding and one of her biggest supporters messaged us for help.
We met Selena and she was the kindest, sweetest, and most gentle and happy girl. Our board member said she could temporarily foster her until we found a more permanent solution. This is where we discovered how special and beautiful Selena truly was and how resilient dogs can be. 💕

☀️ Selena has finally found the home all dogs should be so lucky to have. She may have waited 11 years to find her happily ever after, but it was worth it. We love you Selena Beena 🌸

🌈✨ RAINBOW BRITE nka Daisy is ADOPTED ✨🌈.
We rescued this beautiful girl from our partner shelter in South Carolina and the rest is history!
From her family:
Daisy is a delightful, energetic companion to her new family! She is a social butterfly and her love for people and toys is evident. The squeaky hedgehog is her favorite 😍 She likes to show off her agility by easily jumping on and off the beds and couches. (Parkour anyone? 😂)
She has formed a particularly strong bond with her new Dad as she goes to the office with him everyday and has a bed next to his desk.
She has fit in perfectly with her new family and they adore and spoil her to no end ❤️

Happy sweet life Daisy girl 🌼 You deserve it ❤️

Sat 8/10:
My son and I went to fill the pet pantry. When we pulled up, there was a couple there looking for dog food. We happily handed them a bag and some cans. We exchanged some
pleasantries and I made sure they took a pamphlet with Brick City Rescue Inc. info as well as some
resources. THIS is the reason this pantry exists; to help out our local families.

Again, this pantry has been filled with donated goods from wish lists created just for this pantry.

If you wish to help, you can bring your own donations directly there, or you can make a purchase from the wish lists and I will stock the pet pantry once a week with the food donated.

Sunday Funday begins with Phife’s adoption announcement. 📣 We are so happy for this baby who we rescued from in honor of Midnight, a dog we lost prematurely before we could save him. Phife was only 6 months old, growing up in an overcrowded shelter and being overlooked as most black dogs do. Thanks to for stepping to foster, we saved another soul. Phife became such a wonderful companion and an amazing dog. He found his at our event with and it was love at first sight! Phife is now living his best life with his family and is thriving. We couldn’t have asked for a better family for Phife! We look forward to watching all the memories being made with his family 💙💙💙 # brickcityrescue sheltersurvivor

🚨 PUPPIES PUPPIES PUPPIES 🚨 in the last 48 hours we have received 4 puppies in our care. All abandoned. And all 5 months and younger. It is unfathomable. These innocent souls are being thrown out like trash, discarded and abused and they are completely helpless. Just babies. Literally. We don’t even have a name for the 7 week old puppy abandoned in Branch Brook Park this morning. The second one is Hazel who was dumped in Paterson and thankfully a Good Samaritan picked her up. She is 5 months old, dog and cat friendly. Last but not least, the 2 American Bully’s abandoned in Paterson at a motorcycle shop named Dom and Letty also around 5 months old. All of these dogs need medical care and we need to raise funds. Please consider donating…even if it’s just $5. We need help to help them. LINKS BELOW TO DONATE.
