So check out what’s going on at the Creek! We got a confirmed lock on the Het Axanthic x Axanthic Pieds. Get ready for some Lightning Pieds in 2024. We got a lock on the Mojave Het Monsoon x Orange Dream Calico Yellow Belly. Want some more?! OK! We got another lock on the Lesser GHI Het Clown x Mojave Clown. And to top it all off, Mama Bamboo is making a nest for a clutch of Bamboo Fire Possible Het Sunsets. Those sheds will be sent off for DNA testing for sure. Stay tuned!

After a good month in sales, I was able to invest in an ultrasound machine so that I can measure the follicle sizes in my females. This will save me a ton of time and effort, as well as minimize the guesswork involved with the pairings. Big shout-out to Dave at Railroad City Ball Pythons for machine selection/technique!

I may have spoken too soon on having the last clutch of the year. Mama bamboo is looking awfully chunky. She locked up several times with my het sunset male, and it may have taken. She has enormous clutches so we’ll see what happens! 🤞

Closing out 2023 with (2) Gravel or Yellow Bellys, (2) Highways (Gravel + Yellow Belly), and (3) Super Gravels. Not a bad season. 2024 projects will include possible hets for Sunset (now that they've mapped the Sunset gene, I'll get the sheds tested), possible hets for Monsoon, Super Mahogany x Mojave combos, more Bamboo x Orange Dream x Pinstripe combos, Lesser GHI Clown combos, Chocolate Spotnose Clown combos , Axanthic Pied combos, and a lot more. Angolan Python, the only cousin to the Ball Python, and the only snake in the world to have beaded scales. I’m getting this girl up to size and she should be ready to breed within a year or so.
