If you're keeping a freshwater aquarium and looking for a new addition to your tank perhaps it is time to include one of the several beautiful Botia species that we have available.
Botia come in many different sizes and colors and are incredibly useful if you've got a snail problem that needs to be handled. As such, loaches would not make suitable tankmates for tanks with pet snails but are otherwise exceptional additions to most tanks. They are very social, exhibit lots of interesting behaviors and are very hard workers helping to keep the tank clean of leftover foods.

Santa is coming to town everyone! Last year was so much fun and we hope to make this year just as special! Sunday, December 15th, Santa will be at Country Critters to take pictures from 12 PM to 3 PM. 🎅🏻🎁🎄
- There is a $10 donation that goes to help pets in need this holiday season.

If you've been on the hunt for the perfect freshwater puffer... Here. It. Is.
The Spotted Congo Puffer (Tetraodon Schoutedeni) stays small and does not require a large tank like its other African counterparts. Reaching a max size of about four inches an individual Spotted Congo Puffer would do well in a 30 gallon aquarium, while a group can be housed in a 75 gallon. They can be housed with other fish(within reason) and provide you with all the attitude and entertainment that you want when adding a puffer to your tank.
