Our dogs, particularly Ziva, are creatures of routine. Since she was pretty much a pup (Ziva is now 9), she has slept with us in our bedroom. There are two exceptions. The first was about three years ago. We had her sleep in the fly tying room, where she spends much of the day with me.
Ziva did not like that, so she tried to break out - damaging the barn door and regular door and trim. So we put her in a crate. No more issues and she soon returned to our room.
With the puppies in the house, Ziva has again been relocated. The puppies base location is in our bedroom, so Ziva is back in the fly tying room. The last couple of days I noticed Ziva being stressed despite daily walks, petting time and training time pretty much each day. But I went away for a night to do fly fishing related events last week and Ziva decided to act out.
This is what remains of her crate…..
