Welcome to Okefenokee Basset Hounds’ little slice of heaven here on the web. In the real world, we are located in Southeast Georgia about 35 miles from the famous Okefenokee Swamp Park. Our bassets are raised among our family with the ability to go back and forth between our home and their doggie condo. Pictures of the doggie condo can be found in our gallery of photos. We are proud to say we have

imports from two well-known kennels with champion bloodlines in the Czech Republic. We are continually researching and educating ourselves on the basset breed in order to meet AKC standards and produce champion quality, healthy puppies. Our puppies are handled from an early age by all members of our family which includes three children.

To all of our breeder friends, please find a way to watermark your pictures. Facebook is filling up with more scammers! They make our lives/jobs so much harder. I despise a scammer! Unfortunately , this world is made up of individuals that want to live off of the hard work of others. They don’t want to work. Let’s not make it any easier for them.
