Thor is finally home (24 hr vet stay and emergency surgery)! Thank you Dr. Paul and Dr. Williamson at Mattawan Animal Hospital and Dr. Barkow at Oakwood Animal Hospital for taking such diligent care of Thor.

I highly recommend NOT purchasing any kind of ball pit for your cat - Dr. Barkow said the size of the balls are dangerous and that is exactly what Thor had as his foreign body! This enrichment toy almost cost Thor his life and me thousands of dollars. For any toys that may be ingested, either pitch them or supervise play time and lock up when not in use.

Please take a moment to thank your veterinarians, vet techs, and support staff because they are God sends! Without the knowledge and skills everyone provided to care for Thor, my gentle giant wouldn't be here. This is definitely a very merry Christmas for my family.

*my gratitude towards clients that have been affected by this the last couple of days. Your understanding and support has been overwhelmingly appreciated. As a fur mama, I treat your family members the same as mine and watch for this kind of stuff. I had thorough documentation of time, date, what occurred, etc. I promise to do the same while I'm watching your babies and that will be implemented in 2025 for all visits!

This weekend I welcomed Gabe, Clara, and Loreli to my crew! Gabe was very photogenic, whereas Clara and Loreli were more camera shy. We spent the weekend snuggling and playing ball!

Hiya friends!

I am scheduled for jaw surgery Friday, November 22, 2024. I will have some restrictions. Due to the recovery, being able to drive is very limited, so I will unfortunately be unable to take on any bookings during those two weeks. My sister should be back home, and may be available to help out on my recurring lunch walks, but I will reach out to those clients once I know more!

That being said, please feel free to still reach out Nov 22-Dec 6, just no phone calls please.

This past week brought me so much joy! I had a multi-night sleepover with Ozzy, Zoey, and Tortie, drop-ins with Toby, drop-ins with Puma, and a two night sleepover with Woody!

Whether it's non-pet or pet-related, every life is precious and matters. I'll be looking into reputable organizations that are helping support the unfathomable loss many have endured, and get a fundraiser going.

We have 40 acres in Picayune, MS where you, your horses, farm animals, and pets can ride out the storm. We are about 9 hours from Tampa.

I had to help my Tuxie cross the rainbow bridge 6 weeks ago, and Meg and Shawn were professional and very kind while I had to compose myself during this emotional, end-of-life shoot. Meg and Shawn have become very good friends of mine, as Meg has watched my crew while I was out of town and we bounce our pet sitting business ideas off of each other. I cannot express how grateful I am to this husband and wife duo.
