Wintery kisses from Izzy on our walk today! She is not a fan of the cold, but was a trooper to go out to relieve herself.

When weather is ever changing, it's important to be flexible! I spent only as long as she needed to be outside before we adjusted our walk for play and snuggle time. If they can brave the cold, so can I! 💜

Remember, if you see a hypothermic animal:
•DO NOT feed it!
•DO bring it inside and warm with a towel. If you have a foil blanket, you can use that, too, to reflect their heat back to them.
•DO NOT use friction, as it can trigger cardiac arrest or other events.
•If frozen to the ground, use warm (NOT HOT) water around them to help thaw before helping warm.
•DO contact a vet/animal control ASAP for assistance to increase their chances of survival.

I absolutely love when your pets are comfortable enough to snuggle!
Lorelei has been very social and cuddly during my visits, and it's so hard to wiggle around her without feeling guilty about waking her.

If allergies, social norms, and problematic features weren't a factor, which animal would you snuggle up with? My first choices are skunks, opposums, and foxes!

As 2024 comes to a close, I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your continued support and for sharing your beloved furred, scaled, feathered, and hairy family members with me!

Thank you for your patience as my personal life faced many challenges during the second half of the year. I’m hopeful that 2025 will bring a smoother, more balanced year! 🤞

I’ve emailed updated consent forms to those I have on file. Going forward, the goal is to only update these forms as needed, rather than annually.

Please note that there has been a slight change in pricing, but rest assured, the goal is for these prices to remain steady moving forward.

Thor is finally home (24 hr vet stay and emergency surgery)! Thank you Dr. Paul and Dr. Williamson at Mattawan Animal Hospital and Dr. Barkow at Oakwood Animal Hospital for taking such diligent care of Thor.

I highly recommend NOT purchasing any kind of ball pit for your cat - Dr. Barkow said the size of the balls are dangerous and that is exactly what Thor had as his foreign body! This enrichment toy almost cost Thor his life and me thousands of dollars. For any toys that may be ingested, either pitch them or supervise play time and lock up when not in use.

Please take a moment to thank your veterinarians, vet techs, and support staff because they are God sends! Without the knowledge and skills everyone provided to care for Thor, my gentle giant wouldn't be here. This is definitely a very merry Christmas for my family.

*my gratitude towards clients that have been affected by this the last couple of days. Your understanding and support has been overwhelmingly appreciated. As a fur mama, I treat your family members the same as mine and watch for this kind of stuff. I had thorough documentation of time, date, what occurred, etc. I promise to do the same while I'm watching your babies and that will be implemented in 2025 for all visits!
