Master Plan Public Open House Meeting

and Community Survey

Paw Paw Township has commenced the process of updating the community Master Plan. The long-range plan guides growth, preservation, investment, and future land use decision-making in Paw Paw Township. The planning process intends to capture and document the vision of the Township’s citizens, stakeholders, and officials.

Please join us at our upcoming Master Plan Open House and provide your thoughts on the future of the Township.

Date: Wednesday, November 13, 2024

Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (drop-in, no set agenda)

Location: 114 N. Gremps Street, Paw Paw, Michigan 49079

Drop in anytime to meet with Township officials and Planning Commission members and share your ideas concerning the future of the community.

As a part of the Master Plan update, we also request your input on issues such as housing, land use, parks and recreation, natural resources, and citizen priorities as part of a community survey. A link to the survey can be found on the Township’s website at:

Online participation is requested and encouraged, but printed copies are available at the Paw Paw Township offices at 114 N. Gremps Street Paw Paw, Michigan 49079. The survey is anticipated to be available for the remainder of the year. Please call 269-657-4340 if you need assistance accessing the survey.

This summer, Paw Paw Waste and Recycling Station got a makeover.

Grants, in partnership with the Van Buren Conservation District, paid for this great project. Thank you to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy Recycling Infrastructure Grant and The Recycling Partnership for funding. Without this partnership, this project would not have been possible. We look forward to all the new and returning faces at the waste and recycling center. Together we all make an impact in our environment and economy with our recycling efforts.

The set of keys pictured below have been brought in to the township hall. They were found alongside M-40 just north of McCarty’s North 40. They can be picked up at the Clerk’s office during normal business hours.
