Hey all!

As the shelter gets more packed with cats and dogs being found and going unclaimed each day, we hope that anyone whose been seriously considering adopting will consider one of our wonderful longer term pups.
A great candidate of that is our sweet girl Luna.
Luna is full of love always smiling up at you looking for approval. She’s had some training done with our awesome volunteers as well as the shelter staff and she is a very capable and eager learner. She’s got some pretty awesome leash skills and she would make an amazing and fiercely loyal companion.

Just sharing an update on the little doodle who was found stray on Columbus ave. a few weeks back. He is now named Archie and living his best life with his three siblings, including fellow PAS alumni North!
Here's what Archie's family has to say about his transition from shelter life--
"I just wanted to let you know that Archie is settling in beautifully — we absolutely love him! He’s so sweet and friendly, and it’s been such a joy getting to know his personality.

At first, he was a little enthusiastic with the other dogs — he just has so much love to give! But now they’ve all found their rhythm and absolutely adore him. He’s sleeping through the night and hasn’t had a single accident in the house — we’re so proud of him!

He's been to soccer games, for car rides, and on long walks. I also think he LOVES being free in our backyard. And of cozy getting cozy with his human siblings. "

We love getting updates on our Alumni and it's always such a relief for staff to see that the animals they pour their heart and soul into caring for are doing well! Happy life, Archie!

Hey all!

Just sharing our petfinder link and putting it out there. The shelter is once again starting to get near max capacity. Hopefully we can find some loving homes for these animals before the new year.
If you’ve been thinking of getting a pet companion, now might be the time!
We have our sweet girl Annie who will be marking her 2nd year at the shelter in a few months. She’s a great dog and no dog should be in a shelter for so long. It seems like there is always one though that just seems to get overlooked. Please consider opening your homes to these unfortunate but sweet animals 🫶🏻
