The next 3 days are gonna be in the 90s! Please keep yourself and your pets safe! Here are some tips to help keep your furbabies cool...

Take them out early before it gets too hot! They can overheat fast and burn their paws!

I will have the dogs here out early in the morning around 7a and bring them in around 9a before it gets too hot, then bathroom breaks every few hours for only 10/15 mins at most! Watch their breathing. If they are panting fast, they're overheating!

Keep them cool in the air conditioning. If you don't have AC, keep a fan on them. Wet a towel and lay it over their back or let them lay on it. Fill up a kiddie pool with water or even ice. Keep their belly, paws, arm pits, and head wet. Do not take them for a car ride! Don't take them to the park with the kids! Just keep them home and cool! Extreme weather can stress them out.

Ok guys... its the 4th of July, the WORST DAY for dogs. Please keep your dogs inside during this week, and especially the 4th. I always get the dogs out for bedtime break by 8p. By the time I bring them in (830/845p) they are in ac, windows closed, music on. Then when I go back out I start hearing rhe fireworks start to go off, bc it's dark enough. Get your dogs in and settled for the night before it pops off.
