Due to inclement weather conditions expected, we will closing Friday, 1/10 and Saturday 1/11. We will re-open with normal office hours on Monday, 1/13. If your pet experiences an emergency, please call our office line and it will direct you to an emergency hospital.

We never know when or where an emergency will happen. As a pet owner, you need to plan ahead, and include your pets in your family's emergency plan. Know what to do in case of an emergency, how to assemble first aid and emergency kits and how to properly identify your pets so your family can be reunited if you're ever separated.

Be prepared to take care of pets and other animals, especially during disasters such as fire, flood, or other emergencies.

Traveling with pets requires advance planning and coordination to keep everybody safe. Whether you're taking a short car trip or flying to another state or country, getting your pet safely to your destination requires special planning and precautions. Plan ahead, and know exactly what's needed when you travel with pets of different species. Also, NEVER leave your pet alone in a hot car!

Your vehicle can quickly reach a temperature that puts your pet at risk of serious illness or death, even on days that don't seem hot to you.

Everybody loves their pet, yet many pet owners do not take their pets to the veterinarian unless they are visibly sick or injured. Pets often hide signs of illness. Regular check-ups are vital to catching health problems early. Not only can early treatment mean better health for your pet, it can also save you money.

Everyone is trying to save money these days, including pet owners. But cutting back on preventive care can compromise a pet's health ... and cost more in the long run.
