Its time for spring cleaning. I got a load of sawdust Wednesday. Getting ready for stall cleanout time. Video of that coming soon. Here is a video of me unloading the sawdust.

Here is a lesson for people who bail out horses from the kill pens. If the KB is trying to get you to pay top dollar for a skinny, sickly horse, its a lie. That horse will not ship.
KB GO FOR BIG FAT HORSES !
No the skinny 30 year old won’t ship
No the mini or foal/yearling won’t ship.
No your 12 hand pony won’t ship.
Kb get paid PER POUND. Read that again PER POUND! And the pricing is $0.20 to $0.50 a POUND.
So let’s do a little math here. A 300 lb mini, at 36 cents a pound (current going price) would bring 108. Please on this earth tell me where at an auction you can get a mini for $108???
Second reason they won’t ship. THOSE HORSES STAND ON A TRAILER FOR 12+ hours at a time. Sometimes for days! Minis, sick and skinny horses, ponies, they’ll either die or get trampled on the trailer while shipping. Then, it’s a waste of money.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP BUYING THESE “KILL PEN” horses. Buy from reputable sellers. The less we buy KP horses, the less horses KB will buy to turn a quick buck. Most kill buyers are nothing more than horse dealers/ flippers.
