Not sure how this sweet girl keeps being over looked! Silky’s other kitten friends (Tiny, Blair and Nimbo) have all been adopted and will soon go their new homes. Silky is so affectionate and playful! She was surrendered to us last week. She is 5-6 months old and was spayed and received a Rabies and first FVRCP vaccination on Monday (January 13th). She is FIV/FeLV negative. Silky came from a home with children, dogs and other cats. She settled in here at the rescue so quickly. She’s the first kitty to greet me at the door. She loves treats and to play with toys! Please share so we can find Silky a home!
Received a strange request for a door dash order today… the client was very pushy but too cute to refuse 😂
Meet Sprout 🌱
He came to the rescue with a very high fever, lethargy and is almost a pound lighter than his siblings. After days of subcutaneous fluids, antibiotics and love, he is finally doing a lot better. We are both so glad his fever has gone down so we can snuggle. 🥰 I hope he continues to thrive and finds the best home once he’s ready to be adopted.
It’s so hard not to form strong bonds with the animals that come here unwell. Given all the time I’ve spent with him daily, we have become a bonded pair. But part of rescue is knowing that these babies cannot stay here forever, otherwise, I couldn’t help the next animal in need. 💗

Update on Momma Cat! She still shows up every night for dinner, sometimes breakfast. She spends some time at the kitten’s window and then goes on about her day. She is still very scared of me, but we are making progress!
The ponies decided to lead some kind of revolt this evening. Unfortunately, it did result in Cash being severely injured. Equine field service is going to come out tomorrow to check him out further, the doctor instructed me on how to keep him comfortable tonight 😭 will post an update tomorrow, but for now enjoy how beautiful they are.

Happy 4th birthday (belated) to our little Mo. He body crawled his way right into my heart. He’s such a sweet dog. Mayonnaise was an owner surrender case with severe allergies. He’s doing much better! He will also have a dental in a few weeks!
