This is a reasonable approach to the national concern that has been circulating in the media about coughing dogs. Louisiana does not (at this time) have any reported cases of this Atypical Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex (aCIRDC).

Please call if you need to bring in your dog for updated vaccines - especially Canine Parainfluenza and Canine Bordetella.

If your dog is boarding, getting groomed or spending time at day care or dog parks and comes down with a cough, please call to be seen and we will help with deciding whether further testing is needed.

Summertime is a wonderful time for PRVH! We are happy to have so many friends boarding with us. However, our towels bear the brunt of extra washing and bleach baths!

Before you throw away any old towels or sheets, please consider bringing them by the clinic! We promise that they will go to good use!

Chardonnay is patiently waiting for a home! We have had a couple of people call, but no one has come through for this girl!

Chardonnay is 1.5 year old female spayed, FELV/FIV negative, vaccinated female with no known health history. She is loving and spent time in a home with other cats and a dog.
