Join us for a Winter Camp experience!!

During this two-day camp, kids ages 6-12 enjoy riding and learning about horses through hands-on activities and games!

December 30-31 8am-2pm

Kids need to wear jeans and boots with heels, plus bring lunch and water both days.

On the second day, kids will show off what they learned with a Parent Show Off!

These camps also make GREAT Christmas gifts!

During this two-day camp, kids ages 6-12 enjoy riding and learning about horses through hands-on activities and games!

December 26 and 27 8am-2pm

December 30-31 8am-2pm

Position Openings

Looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as riding instructors in Pearland, TX. We teach both English and Western riding on the flat, no jumping or barrel racing. As an instructor, you will work with people of all ages, ability and experience, in both one-on-one and group settings.

We have positions available for both part-time and full time, with evening and weekend hours required.

The ideal candidate should be motivated, a self starter and team player, as well as being able to perform the following duties:
•Comfortably handling horses of all temperaments and training levels
•Able to lunge, saddle and bathe
•Basic first aid and knowledge of common equine issues.

Our purpose is to promote excellence in the profession of horseback riding instruction based on the principles of safety, knowledge and integrity, with the health, happiness and well being of students and horses being of primary concern.

Pay is dependent on experience. Preference will be given to candidates with prior instructor experience.

Daylight Savings time ends on Sunday, November 3 at 2:00am.

Remember that a good night time routine is important for rest and restoration.

You may want to set your clocks back one hour before going to bed on Saturday, November 2 so that you are not 1 hour too early for your lessons!

“If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever.” It’s with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our lesson horse Preacher. He had been an integral part of Bay Area for the last 25 years and has taught hundreds if not thousands how to ride. His cool, calm demeanor and forgiving personality made him an ideal lesson horse and his big, kind heart made him be loved by many. Like all our horses who have moved on to greener pastures, we will miss him dearly and will remember him as one of the great ones. In remembrance, we would love for anyone to share with us photos of sweet Preacher as he was many a riders first horse or confidence builder over the years ❤️

Nothing like an organized tack room!

We had a great opportunity to have Tim Kimura to come and hold a trail clinic at BAEC today! Tim teaches trail clinics all over the country (and world!) and course designs for the top shows, including our US National show. We gained a lot of information today and are appreciative for him coming down and spending the day with our riders!

We love Preacher and Johnny ❤️

We found our flower box culprit!

It was finally dry enough for the horses to go out in the pastures today! We think they were pretty happy to get out and play 😂
