Technically it was raining 🌧️ outside Friday. But inside Pearland Barkway it was all was sunshine 🌞. As luck would have it we had all of our favorite Golden Retrievers (and our favorite Golden Doodle) in daycare Friday to brighten our day and make it special. Hmm 🤔😁, maybe every Friday could be Golden Friday ❤️❤️❤️.

We lost power last night from the storm. 😟 The entire shopping center is out this morning. Centerpoint is aware and said the power should be restored soon (this morning hopefully).

Meet Nebula! 😻 Our current guest and second kitty to stay at Pearland Meoway, our new cats-only boarding and play room! She's having a playful stay while her mom's away. 🌼 Daisy Phillips has been coming to Pearland Barkway since she was a puppy, back when we were just a small, one suite grooming and daycare salon. When we grew into the facility we have today, with individually themed rooms for boarding, Daisy's mom would trust us to keep her safe and well taken care of while they were away. Daisy continues to come every Wednesday for a bath and daycare.

Last year when Daisy's mom told us that Daisy has hip dysplasia, we wanted to make her as comfortable as possible while she was in boarding, in a room big enough for a large cot and bed. We started keeping her in Room 209, the Galaxy Room, because it was just a bit bigger than the other non-luxury size rooms and would fit her bedding and cot.

Since last April, Daisy has stayed exclusively in room 209 when she boards with us, 13 times in a row. So we thought it was only fitting to remodel and rename the Galaxy room.

As of today, March 20th, 2025, room 209 will forever be known as Daisy's Room 🌼, named after Daisy Phillips... the sweetest, most loyal and bestest good girl. It's been an honor and our pleasure to take care of her for all of these years. We look forward to seeing her every Wednesday for her weekly bath and daycare, and we'll always keep Daisy's room ready for her when she needs a place to stay.

These two pups had there first day at daycare recently! Mia and Biscuit were more into the nap time aspect than the play aspect of daycare but they enjoyed the pets of the PB staff during their visit! 💚🐾

Interested in trying out your pup for a fun time in Pearland Barkways Doggie Daycare? We have some Good news! ✨ Your pups first day with Pearland Barkway is free for temperament testing. Some things to be aware of before your puppies first free day of daycare:

🐾 Pearland Barkway requires your pup to have Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccines for their first day.
🐾 If your dog is still a puppy we require them to be spayed/neutered once they hit the 6 month mark.
🐾 Naptime for daycare pups is from 12pm-2pm! Bring any lunch, blankets, treats, etc. that you’d like to make your pup more comfortable.
