Great weekend at the Alamo Area Rabbit Club, Black Friday show. Did a something a little different, left the hubby home and went with Lana Westerfield .

Palominos did great, thank you Cody Gallagher for these amazing Golden pair, the doe kicked butt and took names. BOB show C for Bonnie and BOSB for Clyde. Congrats to Carolyn Wright on her wins.

Arabella was the Belle of the French Angoras. Thank you again Colleen Boyd , she took breed all 3 shows!

On to Killeen next weekend.

Good day for Lazy Bunny Farm. Flemish Giants, Angora and the Mini Lops got to show their stuff in Hillsboro today.
Colleen Boyd , A Touch of Bunny, Arabella, Sable doe took BOB in French Angora and then took BISS in the second show. Love this doe.Thank you Adam Schuller.
Debbie Brink , Brinks Rabbitry, Pyrite took BOV in both shows. Awesome Fawn Flemish Giant.
Stephanie Hunter, Bolo got 1st place JR solid buck. Thank you Dirk N Shari Harp and Michelle Matthews-Burk for the Mini Lops on the table for me. It takes a village.

And today, we say not goodbye but see you soon to Kristi Salinas . This was her last Texas show as she will start a new adventure. But we will see her at Nationals and convention. Good luck to you Kristi.

My beautiful Calypso became a mom last night. Had one little white baby. So the little one now has Flemish Giant "siblings " that born on Thursday. Calypso was not happy when she learned she had to have her wool sheared off. There was some protesting 🤣

Lazy Bunny is home from the convention. To say we (humans and bunnies) are exhausted is an understatement. But all in all, a good time was had. Angoras did awesome! Two of the three Flemish Giants places 3rd. Big win! Palomino program needs to be worked.

Brought home lots of new bunnies, planned and unplanned. 😆 Mini lops, Pals Flemish and French Angoras. Got to get ready for next year.

At 3:30 this morning we took off to Louisville KY for the world's largest rabbit show. It was a tight squeeze but no bunny was left behind. We were even able to squeeze in the spare tire 🤣

4 weeks. In 4 weeks these coops will be filled with around 20,000 of the most gorgeous rabbits and cavies you could ever hope to see. The aisles will be filled with so many people, so much hope and hard work and excitement. Everyone there for the singular purpose of trying to take home top honors, and forever be a part of ARBA history. Don’t forget to pack your extra hugs for your rabbit friends you only get to see there, smiles for the folks you encounter, and patience as this week is a hurry up and wait week. But for this single special week each year, nobody asks why you show rabbits, nobody is in disbelief that rabbit shows exist, and there are memories to be made! I can’t wait to see my rabbit fam and pass out those extra hugs and smiles!!!
