This little guy in the super dirty sac was found at the bottom of his mommy’s tank along with 3 other adult females. It’s a wonder they never ate him! He hatched today and is in with the other hatchlings doing great. His name is lucky!

We have our first hatchling…hard to believe these babies will be pink leucies. Right now they are stained with egg coloring that they were in. The baby will continue to eat from his yolk sac which feeds them for the first 24 hours after birth. I did put a little live baby brine shrimp in with him too just in case he wants to nibble. Today’s egg pic. Little heads are now forming…note the “twins” in 1 sac. They aren’t actually twins, just got wrapped in the same slime coating as they came out of Mom.

They are beginning to get an axolotl shape to them.

The eggs all started beaning today. Little babies now starting to develop. We should see hatchlings in about 14 days. 🩷
