Sunny girl is back for boarding! ☀️
Structured boarding is something I offer to all of my clients who have worked with me & have graduated from our Board and Train programs. 🐕
Structured boarding is exactly what is sounds like. We offer 24/7 comfort & care while you are away, all while maintaining the training that you have worked so hard at! Although this is not regular training, additional refresher training can be added onto their boarding stay if you feel you may need some tuning up. 🐾
This is such an awesome perk I am happy to be able to provide for my Breakthrough Graduates & I always enjoy having these guys back for a visit. 🐾☺️🐕
What a wonderfully beautiful journey it has been with Miss Bean. 🥹
She came to us with a pretty messy state of mind & over the course of these last 2.5 weeks we have unraveled each and every layer to help digest & find better, more healthier alternatives to help her work through her fearfully anxious states of being.
She has come such a long way, as these videos show. But she also has such a long road ahead of her! Training does not stop for any dog after they have completed their training programs. It HAS to be carried on back in their own environments to see continued growth and success for lifetimes to come!
I have no doubt she is going to do her very best back at home with her family. 🥹🐕🐾
I’m so proud of her. ♥️
Impulse control! Which toy will Bean choose?? 🤔
Impulse control is such an important piece to the puzzle of owning a dog.
If your dog cannot focus & listen to you with the most exciting of things waving in front of their face, how could you expect them to listen & focus when it truly matters?
Or quite simply, when nothing is happening??
Practice makes perfect! 🤩 💪🏼
Confidence building is so so important for every dog, especially our fearful ones!
There are so many things you can do to help build up your dog’s confidence. The key factors in whatever you do with them..
1. Do NOT let them fail! (They can absolutely do the scary thing! You are the only thing holding them back.)
2. Be their biggest cheerleader! (They need all of the encouragement they can get!)
There was even a moment where Bean slips off the edge- instead of me breaking down and making a big deal about it. I continue to tell her what a great job she is doing and encourage her to go right back up!
(Check out the full video on our Instagram Page!)
She & almost every dog struggles with these platforms for the first few moments but quickly with my guidance and cheerleading. They start to run up all on their own & without fail.. everytime they each have the biggest of smiles on their faces.
Do not be the reason your dog fails.
Keep trying. 🥹🥹👏🏼👏🏼
Sweet Sunshine! ☀️
Sunny absolutely rocked her go-home lesson with mom & dad last week.
Their main goal being, they wanted reliability with her commands in all avenues.
With clear communication & consistency. We definitely achieved that & so much more!
Check out her drop-off VS go-home! 👏🏼🐕
A drop off & go home with Dunkin’! These guys go through such a mental shift during their stay with me.
Although we love flashy obedience & having our dogs really listen. My main focus is always going to be state of mind & addressing those kinks that make up an anxious, fearful, or reactive mindset. 🧠
Once we fine tune that, everything else falls into place in such a beautiful & peaceful way. It is certainly not easy, but when we stop trying to fit these guys into the same little box & help them along the way with crystal clear direction; it gets so much easier to enjoy life with them. 🐕😌
This one was too funny not to make a post about.
Earlier today while Dunkin’ & I were working on things off-leash for the first time.
We had an unexpected distraction! 🐈
This is the reality of needing ABSOLUTE reliability when your dog is off-leash. Imagine if Dunkin had no reliability & we didn’t have the e-collar for those “oh crap moments” .
A cat, squirrel, rabbit or even another dog could have met their maker.
Granted- Dunkin is not at all out to get my cat, he is quite friendly with them! 😉
But man am I so proud of him and all the work we are putting in!
Great job bub! 🤩💪🏼
Welcome to our brand new training space! 🌟🐾
Welcome to our brand new training space! 🌟🐾
A great little clip of defusing the “build” and fixation that Odin has when he sees another dog up ahead.
Where Odin would normally become leash reactive; we can see the stress roll of his shoulders as he leans into leadership with dad!
Owners now have the tools to make sure each walk can have some success with Odin!
** The amount of distance your dog may need around their “triggers” varies! If it’s too hard to defuse the frustration then you may be too close. Add some more distance, take a deep breath & keep moving forward! ✊🏼
Are you struggling with leash reactivity? 🤔
Reach out today! 📞
We are here to help you bridge that gap in communication. 🐶🐾🌟
You would not believe how drastically your dog’s state of mind and your overall walk together would change with just adding in some more leadership! 🌟🧠
We all know miss Eloise has a tendency to become very overwhelmed and over aroused on the walks. Here we are showing her what it means to lay back and let dad drive the ship. 😉
Great job guys!
We had a great time yesterday working on introducing the E-collar to Wrigley!
Parents struggle with recall reliability from Wrig; with his safety being our top priority, we need that back-up if a leash isn’t readily available! This tool is going to provide clear communication for Wrigley and give owners peace of mind.
Great job guys! 🌟🐶✊🏼
Confidence building is sooo important with every single dog! 💪🏼
Here we are with Bruno showing him exactly what he is truly capable of!
Bruno is a generally fearful, nervous & shy guy. When working with Bruno he is extremely smart & caught onto new things quickly, but obedience isn’t all that he needs help with.
Bruno struggles mentally- he is living in a constant state of uncertainty which makes living life in the human world a little bit difficult.
In this video you get to see Bruno process & work through this “stressful” event. I am here to give him the tools, he has to be the one to use them!
And he totally can! 🐶😋
With clear communication & guidance Bruno is learning that he can do so much !
Keep pushing & be patient! They’ve got this! 🐾🌟
Happy Toenail Tuesday! 🐾
I wanted to film the process of dremeling my own pups nails to remind everyone that grooming sessions are also training. 🤩
Grooming sessions with your pup is all about caring for their hygiene as well as ensuring they are comfortable with all the tools we use to get the job done!
Regular nail trimming is a must: so why must it be so stressful?? 😡
It doesn’t have to be! With practice, patience and clear communication with your pup, you can make the process fun & even relaxing! 😊
Let me help you get there!
Please reach out with any questions on grooming for your dog & how to work through those tough times. ✊🏼

Happy Friday! 🤩
We had lots of fun with Thor & his mom this week!
Thor struggles with reactivity towards the children playing/being too close to him.
We use distance and clear communication to let Thor know that we have his back & he doesn’t have to worry about a thing!
Rather than putting on a scary bark to keep them away, Thor is able to watch the kids, take in the information and reengage back to mom for help with his big feelings.
Great job guys! 👏🏼🐶
