This is Athena. She needs to be rehomed (no fault of her own). Spayed, housebroken, raised with kids, other dogs can be introduced. Not sure about cats. She is 2yrs old. I board her and she is so sweet. If you could find it in your heart to take her....please contact me and I can hook you up with her Daddy.

I am booked this weekend on 12th and 13tn. The 19th and 20th are very tight so you'll need to call soon for any time overlapping into those dates. ALL dogs need PROOF of Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella

I've seen so many social media posts this week about lost dogs. Way more than usual. Why??? FIREWORKS, that's why. I HATE fireworks. If you have a neighbor with a small p***s that needs to shoot fireworks.....call the authorities.

I need you all to do what you do......these adorable puppies are for sale and will be available July 7. The pics with the pink frames are girls, blue frame are boys. Dad is 100% blue heeler, Mom is 50% blue heeler and 50% Catahoula. Parents are great dogs. Super intelligent breed....NOT for apartment dwellers! $450.00 ea. Fireworks already starting near me.

PSA......if you live within a 2 mile radius of Westwinn Kennels and shoot ILLEGAL fireworks......I will find you, give you a courtesy visit and ask you to stop. If you don't, my next call is the Winnebago County Sheriff. I will press charges accordingly. When I'm housing around 70 dogs I take my responsibility seriously.

UPDATE: My great nephew had this dog show up in his yard and stayed! I got ahold of Care for Pets and a volunteer showed up with a scanner. The dog was chipped and my great nephew returned him to his owners! Yay, a happy ending thanks to Kyle Nokes of Nokes Remodeling and Care for Pets.

This dog was found on Abbotsford Rd in Rockford. Very well mannered. Male. Dragging a leash. County was called but slow response. Message me if you know where he belongs.
