The answer is Border Collie

They are intelligent, high prey drive and quick!!!

#2 Labrador Retriever

I personally have never been bitten by a Border Collie and I have boarded many. Most are good boarders. I board a literal ton of Labs. The closest I've ever come to losing my life was a black Lab (twice)....once one took me to the ground in the kennel. He's obviously not welcome back. The other was while I was delivering mail.

Chihuahua is mentioned a lot and I agree they can be little jerks but I've boarded some of the sweetest ones on the planet. They very well could take the prize for frequency if reported.....but no life threatening injuries!

All dogs have the capability to bite. Most bites are fear induced. I have rarely seen an actual aggressive dog.

Statistically....which dog breed is the most likely to bite? After your guesses....I will explain.

Remember, statistics can be manipulated for an outcome. There are bites that make the news so those bites are more high profile breeds. And of course it's subjective to bites per breed and some breeds aren't as plentiful as others....yada yada. So this is some European data I came across.

Well, it's that time of year to prep for taxes. As I add up my expenses for the year like payroll, dog food, utilities etc....there's one that most people don't realize we pay.....fees I pay for the customers convenience of paying with plastic. I'm just a 'little guy'. I only raise my prices when absolutely necessary to keep up with rising costs. So in 2024 the monthly fees charged to me for you to use your card added up to $1,566.99. Automatically comes out of my account monthly. This is why most places, including me, pass this along to the customer. A 4% fee on all credit card transactions is what I charge. Thanks for your understanding. Cash is king.

I need to take this time to acknowledge what great customers I have been blessed with. As another year comes to a close I feel grateful for many things. I have a roof over my head, good health overall, beautiful children and grands. I have God. Our Devine creator gives us many blessings. Things that enrich our lives. For me, well, it's dogs. Throughout my life, when things looked hopeless, I had a dog. When things got better, I had a dog. When I had kids, I had a dog. Dogs have saved me just by being there with unconditional loyalty and friendship. I've had cuddlers, protectors, goofballs, geniuses and not so bright ones. I loved them all. They are my angels. Oh, it's not always easy but it's worth it. I am truly blessed that all of you have shared your pups with me over the years. I have held them and smelled their puppy breath, watched them grow and learn, and watch them get gray and lumpy. Watch as their eyes get cloudy. Then they're gone. Over and over and over. Yet we all keep doing it don't we?

I am blessed. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for sharing your pups. May you have a blessed 2025. Happy New Year.
