One week ago, if you told us Parker would’ve been able to stay still WITH distraction we just may have laughed.🤣
Parker is a great & smart pup, but he’s highly distractable, incredibly hard headed , and vocal to top it off. Having him achieve a duration command around distraction was our end goal, and he sure blew us (and everyone else in Lowe’s) away with his manners!

If you asked snickers a week ago if she could’ve handled busy Cabela’s, she would’ve told you you were crazy! 🙈 While still overwhelmed in busy situations, she was able to focus on her commands and even hold them for decent durations!

Don’t let his AWESOME skills fool you though, he’s already gone through a lesson program and is working to fine tune his skills. Mom already got him off leash through lessons, we’re just reigning in his excitability and really locking things down to be super solid!💪🏻

When we’re out working with your dogs, we are striving for as much fun engagement from and with them as possible! A great way to help a dog learn to focus on us is with heel autocorrects! By us changing directions quickly, the dogs learn to pay attention more.
