Traveling many years horseback riding, camping and a jaunt with mule guiding in the Grand Canyon lead me to Pedro, Ohio, in 2008 to build my dream of a safe, family oriented campground for equestrians and their horses. We offer many amenities and do our best to accomadate your camping needs . Give us a call to reserve your campsite and ride the beautiful Appalachia foothills! Redbud & Wildflower Weekend 2025, is Almost Here!
WEEKEND ITINERARY April 10th/11th/12th/13th
Our Good Friend, and Farrier, Dannie Miller,
onsite for the weekend, for any horse shoeing needs!
Massages by Amanda! You know your gonna need one,
after not getting much riding in this year! LOL
Be sure and call camp for an appointment!
Thurs, get settled in, ride at your leisure,
shop in the tack shop, build a campfire,
catch up with friends!!
Fri, Ride at your leisure, in the Beautiful Wayne National!
Take lots of pictures, and be sure and share you albums on the page,
Elkins Creek Horse Camp Friends & Riders!
Fri Evening, THE WILLIS TWINS Bluegrass Band!!!
7:30 to 9:00!
Sat, ride at your leisure!
Sat evening, we are having a Camp Wide Pot Luck Dinner!
Dinner should be around 6:00, in the covered palvilion,
Bring something to Share!
We usually do the Theme of
Soup, Sandwiches, Salads, Appetizers, & Desserts,
but good ole County Cooking is Always Welcome!
There will be sliced smoked ham,
donated by Connie McCarty, and Norm Miller!
Sunday Morning, Cowboy Church!

Big Thank you, to Deb Gibson, and granddaughter, Elin! 10 year old Elin, is one of our younger volunteers. This week picking up trash, reporting downed trees, and then organized signs, and put stickers on, so they are ready to put on the trails. We sure appreciate our volunteers!!!

Elkins Creek Trick or Treat Weekend!! Oct 7th & 8th Friday 7:00pm, Music by Frank Grasso!! Saturday 5:30, Pledge Allegiance & Prayer. Costume Parade & Trick or Treat! Old Fashioned Cake Walk 7:00 / 7:30, bring a dessert to donate! Don't forget to bring Candy for the little ones, and decorate your campsite! Chili, Hotdogs, Games & Paint the Pumpkin, in the Covered Area!!!! Video is of Halloween Past! A few spots still available due to cancelations! Hope everyone has a Spooky Good Time!
