It is here!

2 of my favorite women owned companies have collaborated and made two of the best products that I have been waiting for FOREVER!

You guys know I love CBD Dog Health for anything that you would ever need CBD for. I even take it myself to help me sleep and you know I use the Remedy salve for every single cut I have when I am making the treats (it helps me heal faster) Not only are the products amazing but every single person in that company is all about education. They want you to know why using CBD is the best thing for your pet.

You guys know I love 4-Legger. 4-legger is the only pet shampoo company that I have actually found that is all natural and safe for you and your pet. This is another product that I personally use myself. I don't wear perfume but when they came out with the deodorizing sprays I couldn't help but try the rose and I loved it. This is the perfume I actually will wear! Bear has been getting his baths at home with 4-legger shampoo for 2 years! There is nothing artificial in it.

This week at Bear's Bites Boutique & Education Center.

Unfortunatly we have to adjust the hours due Samm (the owner) being in the shop this week. That being said Samm the owner is going to be in the shop this week!

Today we will close at 2
Thursday & Friday 11a-3p
Saturday 12a-3p. Samm is taking a final on Saturday morning and it is from 10a-12p so we will be opening a little late.

Beef liver is our Saturday sale so come stock up!

We are so sorry to have to adjust the hours, this was not expected and as a small business sometimes we have to adjust.

Saturday Sale!

Last week we started our new Saturday sale. This means every Saturday we will have a new sale on a different item every week.

Today a year ago we launched our sirloin meatball bites so we thought this was the perfect bite for our Saturday sale. Today get 25% off all bagged sirloin bites in the boutique and also online. The discount is automatic online, no code needed.

It is also Saturday, so we have fresh raw food made. You can order the raw online but we do not ship. That is pickup only. When we run out of raw we are out until next Saturday. If we get enough orders for raw we will make it more often and keep it in stock. We will be getting a freezer for the boutique soon so there will be more raw chew options also. 😁

Our cute St Patty's day photo station is up. Many of you don't know I am irish and St Patty's day is one of my favorite holidays. I have props to use also for these pictures. I bought tutus, ties, beads, scarfs. You have got to come check it out. There has been a bit of confusion on how our online pickup orders work so I wanted to explain how to order online and pickup at our store. We love to be able to provide this service to everyone. Online orders are always filled first and then I fill the boutique.

1. Place your order and choose pickup
2. Your order will be ready in 1-3 days - I do not have same day pickup. Pickup is available when the boutique is open.
3. You will receive and email when your order is ready - If you have not received and email, your order is not ready. Please be sure to check your spam.
4. Drive to Bear's Bites Boutique & Education Center - 282 Derby St, Pekin
5. Come in to Bear's Bites Boutique & Education Center and look around
6. Go to the pickup table - Your order will have your invoice attached to the bag
7. Take your order home and spoil your pups

I know it seems like a lot of steps but it really isn't. We love to be able to provide pickup for your orders so please "bear" with me while we continue to improve the pickup experience. As time goes on and we are able to get help in the boutique we will have more days open for pickup. Please remember - your order is not ready until you receive the email stating it is ready.

We are going to get some snow!

I knew this day was going to come where we were actually going to get some snow this winter lol. That being said we are going to adjust our days open this week. Instead of being open Wednesday through Saturday this week we are going to be open Friday through Sunday. Yes, I am going to be there Sunday. Our hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be 11a-3p.

Did you know you can reserve Bear's Bites Boutique for you and your pet to have a private shopping experience?

When I opened the boutique one of my goals for the boutique was to be a safe space for all pets. One way I wanted to do this was by making time for pets that are not able to go out in public spaces due to fear or anxiety or just a simple dislike for people or other pets. As a pet parent of a dog that doesn't want to be touched it is hard to take Bear in public. He isn't aggressive but doesn't want to be pet at all. This leads me to not enjoying taking Bear out because I am constantly saying no you can not pet my dog and putting me on high alert of someone running up to him to pet him. It also makes Bear very nervous around people due to him not wanting to be pet. So many pet parents are on high alert when they take their pet out and this is one way for you not to be.

When you reserve the boutique for your pet you will get a 30 minute session of you and your pet hanging out. We will lock the doors and put a sign up that we have a private shopping session in progress. No one else will be allowed in the boutique. If you need our staff to be in the office while you are here that can also happen. If you are working on training with your pet and need our help, we can do that too. Sometimes just having a person sitting in the same room is a big help for a dog that has some anxiety. This is your time with your pet in our boutique.

Yesterday was a beautiful day and Bear and I sat in the backyard and hung out. Today is going to be even nicer. One of my favorite things about February is how we start getting nice weather. This is going to be more patio sitting today when I get home. Bear is loving it. His little pool is almost completely defrosted!

Yesterday we launched our refill station at the boutique and you guys as always showed up and I could not be more thankful for all of you. YOU GUYS ROCK!

After everyone had left yesterday I sat down and just kind of took a look at the shop and am still in awe every time I see it.

Many of you don't know but February is actually a big month for us.

February 8th of 2018 I started Bear's Bites. Happy 7 years to Bear's Bites!
February 17th is my birthday. Happy 44 years to Samm!
February 27th is Mike and I 's anniversary. Happy 24 years to Mike and I!
