Today was Veterinarian Day at The Roverchase Foundation. Everyone got exams, Proheart (Heartguard for the breeding dogs), and LOTS of snuggles at North Shelby County Animal Hospital! They are so good to us and our Service Dogs!!! Did you know it costs several thousand dollars a year just for heartworm and flea prevention for our Service Dogs in training? “I” and “J” litter updates for their 1 yr bday month! All puppy owners checked in this week for their 1yr old reports and we are so thrilled with the photos shared! Captions on the pictures here and more photos of the remaining dogs in the comments. We are so pleased to report that all puppies from both “J” and “I” litters are thriving, healthy, and happy!

Dove isn't just any dog; she's a multipurpose service dog trained by the amazing folks at The Roverchase Foundation. Dove supports her handler, Jessica, with mobility, medical alerts, and more as a full-time service dog. Whether retrieving items, responding to blood pressure drops, or providing grounding, Dove does it all with a smile as Jessica works as an elementary school therapist to prek-4th grade students. Dove positively impacts everyone she meets.

Service dogs like Dove transform lives, providing essential support and companionship. Trained by dedicated organizations like Roverchase Foundation, these incredible dogs perform important tasks, ensuring their handlers' safety and independence.

Before becoming Jessica's full-time partner, Dove had three litters with Roverchase Foundation, ensuring her exceptional lineage continues. Her pups are now thriving as facility dogs, service dogs, and beloved family pets.

Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined how much you would change my world and impact so much of the world. You were the fruition of over a decade of dreams and plans. Happy Birthday to our amazing G litter! Two years old today! Gourd and Guava have been in their full time working placements for two weeks at Linda Nolen Learning Center and Oak Mountain Intermediate School and we have received such positive reports and updates!! So proud of these heroes doing amazing work! Happy Birthday G-babies!!!

Tomorrow is the last day of Match Camp training for hero dogs Gourd and Guava! We are so excited for them to go with their amazing new handlers to Linda Nolen Learning Center and Oak Mountain Intermediate School and impact so many lives for the better! What an amazing week we have had with these wonderful educators and our very special dogs.
