HUNT TEST POST!!!

So, here's how this works...

There are 3 hunt tests…

Please keep in mind, this test is designed for pups over 16 weeks, but does offer a little insight into their potential when administered earlier

Test 1: Drive

3 points if they chase the bird and do not stop until it's taken away
2 points if they chase the bird, but stop on their own
1 point if they show interest in the bird, but don't chase
0 points if they ignore the bird

Test 2: Find
3 points if they follow the scent trail 6 feet and find the hidden bird
2 points if the follow the scent trail, but fail to find the bird
1 point if they attempt to pick up the scent, but fail
0 points if they couldn't care less and run the other way

Test 3: Retrieve
3 points if they go after a thrown bird and bring it back, good luck on that one at 6 weeks
2 points if they go after the thrown bird, but make no attempt to bring it back
1 point if they start to go after the thrown bird, but get distracted
0 points if they sit there and look at you

Total possible points 9

7-9 Strong hunting instincts
4-6 Moderate hunting instincts
1-3 Low hunting instinct
0 Destined for other hobbies
