Good morning everyone hope you have a blessed and productive day today!!!
We have added a few exciting new things to the room for this year to diversify our collection. Some we have worked with before and some completely new
Here is one species we added to the room and are super stoked to be working with …….
Oedura monilis, commonly known as the jewel velvet gecko this species is native to eastern Australia. I have been wanting to get into some Australian species and ran into these and had to grab them for the gecko room!
They are known for their beautiful, jewel-like pattern.
They are found in rocky outcrops, crevices, and woodlands across Queensland .They are nocturnal and shelter during the day in rock crevices or under bark. They are primarily insectivorous, feeding on a variety of insects.
Stay tuned so I can show you their set up !
What do you think of these beauties???
