Make way villainy! Heroes coming through!

Minsc and Boo will be available for adoption in the coming weeks through Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association (ACDRA)! These two nuggets are quickly opening up here in foster. Minsc is an energetic and bouncy, while Boo is a bit more reserved and sensitive. At about 14wks old both boys have a lot of learning and growing to do!

Goodboy Yabbo is still looking for the right home! He's been a super fast learner and picks up on things very quickly. Leash manners are starting to come along, and he has a clear understanding of verbal training markers. If you're looking for a pint-sized active companion, check him out!

Yabbo is ready to meet his new family!

This pint sized pupper will make a great active companion for the right home! He has a blast exploring on walks and hikes, and is making strides learning manners and basic training skills.

Welp it's now official. I gave up looking for the right home and decided she'll just stay here. It's the one year anniversary of her arrival here; including the six or so months she spent in a prior foster, this kid has spent more time as a foster dog than as someone's pet. She deserves better than that.

I've always given my dogs new names, typically when they first get here, but never renamed her due to the circumstances around her arrival (and because she wasn't a dog I planned on having stick around lol). About a month ago I started shopping around for a fitting new name as all signs pointed to the right adopter never coming along for her. Today I reintroduce the pupper formerly known as Ellie: Detta!

She's a forspecial little s**t, but a welcome addition to my little ka-tet. I look forward to continuing to work with her: hoping to earn her GRC SR1 title next year, and to continue building up her trail manners with more backpacking and hiking trips. Maybe we'll explore dock diving some more, maybe I'll finally find an excuse to get into herding/treibball; we'll see what the future holds for us further along the path 🌹

Looking to get your pup some extra exercise and enrichment? Limited spots have opened up for weekly group hikes! Your pup will practice their loose leash walking skills in a pack setting on an hour long structured hike - a great opportunity to break up their day while reinforcing their training.

Hikes are on a recurring weekly schedule, and eligibility is based on temperament and location. Check my website for more information about group hikes, and reach out to [email protected] if interested in adding your pup to the schedule!

Jayne has been here almost three months with no adoption interest 😭 He doesn't look the part of a cattle dog, but has all the fun personality and energy of one! He appears to be staying on the smaller side: at 5 months old he's still only about 26lbs and a bit of a low-rider.

This kid will make a great active companion, and is a cuddly little man after getting out some energy. He has been waiting a long time for a family to call his own - please share so hopefully he won't need to wait much longer!

-Estimated birthday around beginning of June, currently about 11-12wks old
-Currently 20lbs
-Inquisitive pupper, seems pretty confident so far!
-up to date on age appropriate vaccines, will be adopted on neuter contract to allow his body and mind more time to mature
