Tuesday morning a ferret was found on the side walk across the street from our practice. It was discovered a few hours prior to our opening on the same day an empty carrier was abandon at our practice. While we suspect this was the animal that was abandon, no note was left to confirm our suspicions. As we cannot confirm this ferret was intended to be abandoned, we would like to confirm this is not a lost pet.

If anyone recognizes this ferret and believes it is their pet, please contact our office at (610)-863-3111.

04/30/2024

Last night an animal was abandoned at our doors in a carrier. Unfortunately by open this morning, it escaped its carrier and we have been unable to locate it.
We would like to remind everyone that animal abandonment is illegal (for precisely this reason). If anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact our office.

Hippity-Hoppity Easter’s on its way! That means it’s time to spring into action to prevent these problems!

🧺 Easter grass and small toys from baskets can pose a foreign body risk and should be kept out of reach of pets.

🍫Candy such as chocolate, raisins, and sugar free candies containing xylitol are toxic for pets.

🍖 Ham and other table scraps can be high in fat and lead to pancreatitis.

🌷Easter Lilies are extremely toxic when ingested (even licking pollen!) and can lead to rapid kidney failure and even death. We advise all cat parents to not bringing this plant into your home!

If you want your holiday to be merry and bright, pay attention to these Holiday Hazards!

🎄Be sure to secure your tree and keep pets at a distance.

🐈‍⬛Skip the tinsel. These shiny decorations are tempting for our smaller furry friends and pose a foreign body risk if ingested!

🕎 Keep all open flames away from pets to prevent burns or fires.

🍪Save the chocolate treats for Santa! Chocolate and artifical sweetners like xylitol are toxic for dogs.

🪴Many holiday plants such as mistletoe, holly, amaryllis, and pointsettias are toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach!
