Cornbread Update 12/21: We are relieved this morning as Cornbread successfully made it through surgery to fix his urethral prolapse. Dr. Carlisle and his team at Smith Animal Hospital, P.A. saved his life. Cornbread is happy, active, eating well, and taking his meds with no issue. He will stay hospitalized for the weekend and move to an awaiting foster early this week to help him through the rest of his recovery.

Cornbread is a FIGHTER and we are so humbled by everyone who has chosen to help us fight with him. We have raised $740 so far towards his ~$2,000 bill.

Friends, we need a Christmas miracle. This young poodle mix survived the flooding and landslides of Hurricane Helene as a stray in the mountains of North Carolina, but is now undergoing his biggest battle yet as he undergoes emergency surgery for a pr*****ed urethra. The tiny tube that connects his bladder to the outside world has turned inside out. His body is slowly filling with toxins that his body can’t eliminate. He is in pain and bleeding everywhere.

The amazing team at Smith Animal Hospital, P.A. are all hands on deck right now saving his life. His finder has named him Cornbread. We just put a $1,000 deposit down for his lifesaving surgery. We need your help so that we can save Cornbread.

As many of you know during the Holiday season we hold the Children’s home near and dear to our hearts!
We are gonna setup another 2week stay giveaway limited to two slots only. All proceeds will go to buying all these boys socks,underwear,basketballs,footballs etc and snacks!
If you feel lead to make any donations we will accept them till Sunday evening as I will dropping everything off Monday December 16th.
