I am so happy Goldie is finally comfortable in his new enclosure. He still won't go to the bottom where his pool is. Hopefully he will figure it out.

Our baby iguana is getting very tame. It will eat out of your hand and walk right up your arm.

We have Mexican Dwarf Crayfish available. They are very neat. I enjoy watching them and feeding them.

*UPDATE*
We were able to get to the trailer and get it out. They closed the road after we went thru. Our mining partner was not able to get his trailer. I took lots of photos and videos of the fire. I will be posting on my personal page some of them.

We have a used screen cage with a wood basking branch. It is 30x18x30. It is FREE as is. Not in perfect shape but still usable.

I have been wanting to post this for a long time.
We received another animal yesterday that had been abandoned in town. This is at least the 5th animal we have rescued from a horrible death. These reptiles will certainly not survive our winters and are not able to find food to eat. Most of these animals have been captive bred and been in an enclosure their whole life. This includes turtles. It is actually against the law and you can be prosecuted.
PLEASE do NOT just turn them loose when you can't take care of them or are in financial situation that makes it hard to provide the care they need.
We will take the animal. PLEASE reach out to us. We have other rescue groups that can help if needed. I have pictured some of the animals that have been turned loose.

To my human moms & dads, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !
Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾
If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.

Today we lost a friend. I came in this morning and stopped at her cage to say good morning. She was so cute sleeping on her back with her tiny feet crossed on her tummy. It was a bit before I tried to wake her up. My heart broke when I realized she had passed. Hazel has been with us a few years. She was at least 5 when we rescued her. Our long time customers will remember her horrible tumor on her neck. I believe that tumor was cancer and that cancer finally got her. We had the tumor removed but did not have a biopsy. Customers love to stop by for a cuddle and kisses from her. She was honestly the BEST ferret we have ever had. We have sold close to 100 over the years of having the pet store. I have shed many tears today and we will miss her terribly. I take some comfort she is in a better place. RIP Hazel sweet girl
