New Moon - A Family Ranch

Howdy, I’m Courtney! My husband Matthew, our fur babies, and I are the owners of New Moon Family Ranch, where waters sure run deep. This is a dream ranch built from the ground up for the last 35 years by my parents, Lucy and David. We are nothing short of lucky to be inheriting their creation. As proud locals of Nevada County, we feel honored to be stewards of this land. May we continue to share it with others in the spirit my parents have - inviting people to love the land, to giving unconditionally to our animal companions, while cherishing nature above all else.

We are happy to offer day-use of our facility. Haul-in rates are set by the hour or by the day!

Our favorite time of year is here at For Love! The baby leaves are sprouting and the birds are singing. We hope to see you soon…. 🐦 🍃 🌸 🐴

Have a barn/ranch/equestrian/outdoor event but unsure where to hold it? We also offer our space as an event rental! Clinics/seminars/educational/nature events are all welcome at For Love! We have a large covered indoor, round pen, two outdoor arenas, ample parking, tons of privacy, and are easily accessible! Send us a DM or call anytime 🐴 🌳

We have room for 3 retirement horses and/or pasture horses! There is one large stall with its own 50’X100’ paddock as well.
Also - if you know anyone local that wants a side job helping keep acres of our beautiful grass cut, send them our way!
