He met me at the gate tonight and we had a good 5 short sessions today. Currently able to bring the halter up above his eyes without panic.
Full liberty training is new to me but I’m loving the results and I’m sure it will pay off ❤️

The donkey girls! 💜
They have made great progress, they got new halters, have made it to turnout, they lead, tie, groom and are great with there feet!

Tessa and I worked all the horses, I worked with the donkeys and then she helped me take them out to turnout.

I got quite a few questions about Draco and why I hadn’t been seen on him in a long time. This was never actually posted but, here goes! Draco and i have a bit of a “trauma bond”. We started out great, we had a freak accident that really triggered some ptsd from my big wreck in 2017. He went for 8 months of professional training, came home, and another spook gone wrong, brought everything to the surface again, he went to another trainer who actually got through to him and made progress! Months of trying to convince myself to give him a fair shot… and today i did ❤️

This may not look like much to some, but for me it was huge. Draco and I have what I would consider a trauma bond and I for some reason have been absolutely terrified to ride him again. Today I finally did it ❤️ It was far from perfect but, we did it.
