A better post will be coming, but we made it through the week! Bird has been a saint, she took everything so well. She took sawyer through 3 days of riding and did so well for her first time out, she also carried Lolo through her cloverbud class ❤️
Tessah showed Anakin in western pleasure and mounted games which we’ve just been thrilled with him and how well he is handling everything.

Roulette did fantastic this week, never missed a beat or had a bad day. Even got a win ❤️
Myleigh and dude had a great week 🩶 a couple bobbles and a few wins.
Everyone should be proud of themselves and the horses ❤️

Tessa and Barry did very well English
Tessa and Anakin had a good day doing mounted games
Myleigh and Dude did great with a couple hiccups that they worked through
Sawyer rode Bird today in mounted games and it was awesome for birds first time!
Emersyn rode Lyric for English day and mounted games and is doing well!!
Conner and chic did great in the games
Ella and Chevy did great!
Lauren got to use bird in leadline and costume class where they were Ariel and Sebastian ❤️
Oh and Tessa got to show the draft horses and she won every class! ❤️

I am so incredibly proud of all of the kids and how far they have all come ❤️ we will be at the Ontario county fair this week! Come out and meet the mustangs and watch all of the hard work come together!

This kid is going to be nice when he grows up! One blue eye, up to date on all vaccinations, he does all the things a baby should, leads, loads, lunges, ties, sidepass, backup and ground drive and takes a bit, picks up all four feet and great for the farrier. He has an awesome start under him and would be a great guy for someone looking to get into starting there own horse! He has a super gentle temperament and a great personality to boot, no bite or kick.

Started line driving, great for vet and farrier, leads, loads, lunges, ties, respects electric.
He is incredibly smart and willing, I harnessed him today and there were zero issues with him at all, this guy takes everything in and stays calm cool and collected all of the time. He would be a great project for someone to grow him up and start him out your way ❤️

I got quite a few questions about Draco and why I hadn’t been seen on him in a long time. This was never actually posted but, here goes! Draco and i have a bit of a “trauma bond”. We started out great, we had a freak accident that really triggered some ptsd from my big wreck in 2017. He went for 8 months of professional training, came home, and another spook gone wrong, brought everything to the surface again, he went to another trainer who actually got through to him and made progress! Months of trying to convince myself to give him a fair shot… and today i did ❤️

This may not look like much to some, but for me it was huge. Draco and I have what I would consider a trauma bond and I for some reason have been absolutely terrified to ride him again. Today I finally did it ❤️
It was far from perfect but, we did it.

Draco is a 2018 model, Bay Mustang gelding, standing at a stocky 14.2.
Draco has been to professional training, leads,loads, ties, lunges, respects all fencing, great for vet and farrier. UTD on everything.
Draco moves beautifully and has a great start under saddle and on the ground, I would still consider him green, but ready to head in any direction.
Intermediate to advanced rider.

I rode Bird and then tossed Tessa on, she did good!
Tessa rode Anakin and Baylee and both did well ❤️
Lexah came and rode Roulette and Tessa rode Draco!
We also had a rock picking party ❤️

Things have gotten busy around here in preparation for county fair!
This heat wave puts a damper on things for the week as far as riding! Horses are all tucked away in the barn with fans and are happy ❤️

Been a little quiet on the page lately but I promise it has not been quiet here!
I’ve also been slacking in the picture department 😬 good ones to come soon from Crazypaint photography!

We set up a small trail course here, Lexah has been working with Roulette and they have made leaps and bounds these past couple weeks!
Bird and I got a new saddle❤️
Anakin has been being rode by Sawyer and Conner and is doing well at learning new things
Draco is being rode by Sawyer and is progressing very well with arena work
Emersyn and bird are working hard at trying to figure eachother out for fair
Tessa and Baylee are working on leg pressure and more precise commands
Myleigh and Dude looked awesome together at evaluations on Sunday!
Amber is consistently working on ground work with Anakin!

Draco is progressing beautifully under saddle with arena work, he is walk trot canter but I would still consider him green. He does trail ride out alone or in a group.
