Hey guys, Bradley here! I just wanted to pop in and let you fine folks know that the humans here at the shelter are nearly out of regular garbage bags! They had me pose for this photo in hopes that my cute self will get a little more attention. If you’d like to help my friends out, please drop off or send them some 13 gallon (regular kitchen) garbage bags. Thanks in advance!
Enrichment is SO important for our doggos here at the shelter!!! So how do we accomplish that? All sorts of things! We try to mix it up for our canine friends. EVERY dog gets walked at least once every day by some of our lovely volunteers, we use slow feeders/food puzzles, volunteers who visit and read to dogs, and playgroups like the one pictured, among other things! Pictured are the three amigos: Bradley, Babs, and Dodge, all available for adoption!

Oh, sweet Bradley. This is a special guy searching for a special home. He has severe separation anxiety, so we are in search of a home where someone will always be with him. He can take a second to get used to new people, but once he is comfortable he will be your new best friend! As of late, Bradley has been involved in several different playgroups and has met multiple other dogs successfully! He would have to meet any new canine companions here at the shelter. We blinked our eyes and realized we are almost completely out of paper towels! Would any of our wonderful supporters be able to help? We try and utilize wash clothes as much as possible, but paper towels are needed daily.

We have recently become aware of shared posted being removed. For instance, one of our staff members tried to share Zander’s post to their personal page. The post was removed for going against guidelines/ rules. However, we can stop this. We ask that if this happens to you, to please take one minute of your time to submit a report (it will prompt you) stating it doesn’t break the rules and you’re sharing to spread awareness. This will help the AI algorithm learn that we aren’t sharing for likes, but to get these loving pets into forever homes.

‼️DOODLES DOODLES DOODLES‼️ Meet Finnegan, Fabio, and Fernando! These handsome brothers were picked up by Yates Co. Animal Control! They had been wandering the state park for a couple weeks. We don’t know how they ended up there, but we assume they had been dumped and left to fend for themselves. After arriving here, they were scared beyond belief and their coats were very matted. After some decompression and friendly faces, they have learned to trust us and are blossoming into kind, funny pups! We estimate their age at right about a year. All have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, tested for heart worm and Lyme, de-wormed and flea treated. Looking to add to the family? As a reminder, doodles require grooming and we strongly recommend having a groomer lined up before proceeding with the adoption process. Unable to adopt?
