Adoption alert! Jinx, now Tisha, has found her forever home and I'm so happy. We still have 7 kittens ready to go to their own forever homes! This picture of her on the ride home tells me she's already so comfy with her new owner!

I will have five kittens tomorrow that are looking for their forever homes and I know they're out there!! It's that time again friends! I am looking for two or three safe places to release this year's raccoons. You have to have 5 acres of property, some type of water source, and the area cannot be hunted and I would prefer that your neighboring properties do not have corn fields. If you or anyone you know would be able to give our raccoons a safe space to spend the rest of their lives please reach out!

Hi friends! Have to get the storage shed cleaned out so we can start working on the barn and I'm not needing or wanting the majority of these tanks in my life anymore! $5-$20 if you ask me for a specific size I'll go dig otherwise be more than welcome to come take your pick and make a donation to the rescue for them. About half have kids and the other half do not I'm only wanting to keep one 55 gallon and maybe another bigger one in the pile. The rest can go! If one is cracked, you can have it for free, but most are in good condition. Make me an offer 😊

This morning we're off to the vet again! This time with a new face and a familiar one! This little guy was brought me Thursday in really rough shape. The finders found him in a drain and brought him home only to see him go downhill a short time later. He appears to be suffering from head trauma and a nasty infection. I have gotten him back on his feet, eating, and on some meds to help him feel better. Hopefully the vet will give us some answers. Sally girl is also going with to get her sutures removed! I can't wait to put her in "gen pop" with the other kittens!

We need vet help! Bills pile up and I'm at my max for funding. If you can help support either of these kittens, it goes so far towards keeping us going and helping me do what I do over here ❤️

We almost missed five dollar Friday! My social media presence hasn't been huge, but know that we're still going strong over here! Working on getting kittens neutered and spayed, finding their forevers, and gearing up for a huge improvement to our rescue! If everyone spared five dollars, it would pay for our surgeries needed, and keep allowing us to feed the residents here at Rocky start! My handsome man, max says thanks! ❤️

Update for our one eyed wonder kitty! She did amazing and is already back to her kitten antics. I'm currently taking applications for this sweet girl and I just know she will be the best cat! Enjoy this progression of me trying to get a good picture of her without having to hold her lol

The universe gave me these two for national dog day. Poor kiddos were dumped to make room for the puppies they just had. Owners kept them though, of course. She's had puppies very recently and will never see them again, nor her crappy owners, nor will her new owners know their names, or why people are so heartless. Spay and neuter your fu***ng dogs, and for the love of God, stop dumping them when you're through with them. We need zero more pitbulls on this planet. We don't have enough loving homes for the ones here. These dogs were so sweet and so scared. Not to mention filthy and full of fleas. Shame on you, and I hope you're caught and fined. And then step on a Lego every morning forever. Huge thanks to the great facility who helped them and to the officer who met me and took a statement. Ok, off my soap box for tonight.

Guess who is healthy enough and has gained enough weight to undergo her eye surgery? That's right! Sally 🥰 please wish her luck on Monday morning as it's the first day of the rest of her life. This kitten is so funny and so full of love despite her rough start. I can't wait to see her when she's healed up and ready to go home! If you can donate to her surgery, or if you'd like to sponsor hers or any of our spays and neuters, we appreciate it and can use all the help! We are looking to raise $400 for her surgeries!

Hi friends! It's $5 Friday and we need all the help we can get over here. Us and all surrounding rescues are over full and we are having to turn down babies because we don't have the time the space or the resources to bottle feed all of these sweet little babies. I'm doing everything I can to come off of intake hold very soon but in the meantime we need help with donations. We lost a friend at the rescue today. Chris, our resident old grumpy man, passed away today. The past few weeks he had been slowing down tremendously and I had been syringe feeding him to make sure he was still getting his proper nutrition. He came to us about 2 years ago as an already old dragon, who refused food. He was already vet prescribed critical care because of this. Slowly with proper food choices and a proper environment, I had him eating veggies and bugs on his own. I knew my time with him was borrowed when he arrived and I'm so happy to have had him healthy and happy as long as I did. He was loved here by everyone. The most relaxed dragon I have ever met. Thanks for sharing the last few years of your life with us, Chris p. ❤️
