Dogs aren’t typical nativity animals but seniors love our daughter’s therapy dog so we try to bring her out when she’s home. ❤️

If you know of a senior or senior care facility that would enjoy our drive thru nativity, please share the event with them. ❤️
(We can make alternative arrangements for facilities to come during daylight hours.

Interested in supporting our free community service efforts but unsure how?

When we have senior care facilities, groups of disabled, veterans organizations, rehabs facilities, youth groups etc visit the farm, we like to offer them a calendar.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area would love to receive 100 calendars to help celebrate the kids in their program. (Each calendar costs approximately $14)

We can do a farm tour or a drive thru experience but generally not both at the same time (because we have to move some of the animals to be accessible)

This particular group had one guest who was mobile with a walker and one guest who was not mobile at all.

Our solution? Take half the group on a make shift drive thru experience and leave the other guests with Jake to do a regular tour.

Thanks to a generous volunteer we now have a brand new website for americanmademiniatures . org that looks great on a phone and easily accepts donations using credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay! 🤯 Still learning how to add content and manage the site, so updates may be slow for now 👩‍💻

Our newest resident might be feeling a little over stimulated………& he’s not the only one. 🤣 We have a some exciting things in the works but are currently drowning. Response time for messages is currently 2-3 days, voicemails are closer to 5 days. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The exotic animal trainer that helps us with all our exotics (and all our super challenging domestics 🤣) has commented on how surprised he is that the zebra takes correction from the minis. A huge part of that is from solid start his original rescuer put on him but some of that is how we manage his environment. Deizel has his own feed bin they can reach (the minis have their own as well) but they often choose to eat together. We try to remove herd-mates who are “too much” as cute as this video is, Leroy the mule will be moved out for a bit to give the zebra some piece. Yesterday the mule seemed to spend all day annoying poor Deizel. Playing is one thing but we all need some undisturbed “me time”. 🤣 I don’t want the zebra to lash out because he’s had enough and the mule doesn’t know when to take a break.

Piper’s what we call “bird safe”, she often doesn’t even acknowledge them…..unless it’s nighttime, then she helps me locate all the stragglers that need to be brought into the coop. Some days she’s just not observant enough to be helpful. 🤣

These two traveled to their vet appointment together, haven’t been next to each for a few days & now it’s the cow’s first day out of quarantine! 🎉

Petunia came in 6 MONTHS ago. Morbidly obese, unable to walk & unwillingly to make healthy eating choices. 💔 She had essentially given up BUT we had some pretty amazing volunteers who continued to bring various home grown veggies (despite her rejection) & we determined to “help” her get walking (despite her complaining)! ❤️ Approx 5.5 months (2 months of which needed pain meds) to get her to this point. 🤯 But look at her now! ❤️ Thank you to all of supporters (financial, time and/or material)! ❤️

Otis made have single handedly made this guest’s day. ❤️

First video is after only 6 Accuscope/Myopulse sessions, second video was taken on intake day. 😮 Huge shoutout to Katie for being his Guardian Angel and Shannon for getting him this far.
