Congratulations to our friend Rex on his purchase of Curley (Electric Curls). Curley has been apart of our barn for the last 5 years and has always been our "go to". Between being in the show ring, to rocking our kids to sleep in our arms....he has been there. It's every horse owners dream to let their horses be horses....fat, happy, doing a job, and being apart of a heard. Curley couldn't of found a better chapter in the next part of his story. Thank you again Rex, for loving and trusting this guy to be your next ride. Happy trails!

You won’t want to miss out on this guy right here! Meet Tuff Pleasin Chics. All the talent and all the grit you could ask for to take you to the winners circle. ‘Tuff’ is one that can do it all, cowhorse, roping, breakaway, you name it. He is a 17 year old gelding but you would never know. He is sound as the day is long and would be best suited for a more advance rider who will ride and use him.

Having your horses started correctly is so important for their future. Having knowledge about general horsemanship is important for your future. If you and your horse, have both a good foundation, and good horsemanship...you set up a solid team. A solid team that can accell in ANY discipline. Pictured below is a beautiful young mare who went through our program, and who now comes for lessons to continue their education, and they make a great team.

Mr. Aries is back for a quick reminder before going onto his next big step. One thing about our program that makes us unique is that we enjoy building a relationship with our clients....horses and owners. When we all get to know each other, we encourage each other to keep aiming high and keep reaching the next set of goals. We love our "repeat offenders" and are honored to have long term friends and clients.

Aries is away for a 2 week lead change boot camp, then will jump straight from Ben Grogan Performance Horses to Marrott Equine for breeding season! Everything chugging right along!

He's been phenomenal to ride at home lately, so it felt like an opportune time to have a trusted pro step in again to polish off what we've been working toward! Aiming for a few shows this year, and cannot wait to see how he's going post-breeding season 🥰❤️

We think horses should be the same inside AND outside the arena. We aim to make them well rounded, and to keep the ones already there going in the right direction. It's always a good evening when ALL the family gets to be included. I know our business name is "Ben Grogan" Performance Horses.... but it really is a family run deal. Our goal is to never force our kids to ride. But we are extremely blessed to be able to grab them a horse when they do want to swing a leg over.
